Placid Pines Pub — Restaurant in Town of Edinburg

I really liked it here! We were on a day trip motorcycling with a buddy, and we decided to stop in here for a bite and beer! Located across from what looks to be a camping area, and situated along the lake, we opted to sit outside anear the road. They had nice picnic tables with umbrellas set up. I am kind of picky when it comes to how clean the beer and glasses are and everything was crisp clean and refreshing drink wise. There is a small inside bar with a few tables to dine in as well.... The server was really friendly and the food was better than expected, honestly. I would definitely stop here again....

It was our first visit and we could see why most reviews are so positive. We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed by the time we left. Printed menu has standard burger fare. The specials are great. Today was filet mignon, chicken and pasta or haddock. We had the haddock and chicken which were excellent.
