If you go be prepared to wait. Our wait was 45 minutes and then it took us an hour on top of that to get our food. There was only three of us and the fact it was an hour to get our breakfast just didn't make us feel better. If we knew ahead of time that they had a small grill and it takes awhile to make food we wouldn't have waited. Also their pancakes aren't that great they taste the same like a McDonald's pancake. Honestly I feel like after this experience I wonder what the hype is
Going to edit because of the response from the facility on my review . Never has a business responded to my review in such a poor manner . Google gives customers the option to review facilities to one let other people know about the business and to secondly give that business maybe some pointers they can work on . First off like I said I had other people with me so we waited 45 minutes to get our table that was accurate . Then when we sat down it would of been nice to be told that hey your food is going to take awhile to come out. We sat down and we got our food after an hour. In total it was 1hr and 45 minute wait . Now we also went to other restaurants in the area that were just as busy but had us seated in under 30 mins and has our food out within 20 minutes. As for the breakfast I ordered the john deere special and it wasn't that great, the pancakes again were not that great . I could of went to McDonald's or Denny's for the same quality breakfast. Now our waiter when we asked where are food was after 45 minutes of waiting for it said that they have a small grill and the pancakes take up half the grill . If we knew this beforehand that the food would take this long to arrive we simply wouldn't have ordered. 15 minutes after talking to our waiter our food finally arrived . Which is where the hour waiting for food comes in . So therefore if you do the math that's an hour and 45 minutes of waiting . Which is disturbing for a breakfast place . There are other restaurants to go to that serves better quality food and plus there are other restaurants that value customer care . Door county is filled with many wonderful places to eat . This place is definitely not one of them . 100 percent not worth it. Also readding this review because of the inaccurate comment from the owner on the review posted before. I can have the other people who were there that day write a review as well and basically it will say the same as mine . We waited an hour and 45 minutes for poor quality food . I never really leave bad reviews and if I do its because I want the business to see what they can improve on and to let others know about the place so they don't have to...
Read moreLooks like a fun place. Didn’t get past the reservation area when they stated one of our party with a valid medical reason had to wear a mask. They require masks even at your table until they take your order. That means no coffee, no water or juice until you order your food. No other restaurant in the area treated a disability like this. I don’t want to hurt their rating but want people with disabilities to know they should go elsewhere.
Edit: You must be talking about someone else. Maybe because we decided to leave without making a fuss. We all had our masks on when we entered. Our one person in the group remained outside who is unable to wear a mask. I asked whether or not someone with a medical condition would still be required to wear a mask and was told he would have to wear it to the table, and that the rest of us had to wear it at the table. We didn’t argue. I could see it pained the young man to have the conversation. I asked the rest of my group if they wanted to stay. They said no so we told him to have a good day, he responded in the same manner and we left. I edited my star rating from 4 to 1, not because of my encounter in the store, but by your response below, which is way out of line and untrue.
