This restaurant is called CHAPS.I took my family there this past weekend and my father and I ordered the prime rib on Saturday special and this thing was as big as a brontosaurus. About an inch thick perhaps a little more and enough to cover the whole plate, this thing was absolutely so huge and delicious everything was cooked to perfection. Nearly every Monday night my wife and I eat here. The sections of the menu we exercise most are omelets and sandwiches. The servings are large, the food is delicious, and the staff members are very warm and personable. They are flexible in adjusting the menu to satisfy you. It is likely the owner will stop by and ask how you're doing (she also cooks amazing omelets). They are supportive of the local community - for example, they helped revive the Elba Onion Festival, embody principles of EEOC, and provide food for the Batavia Muckdogs (baseball team). My family was in the middle of a 1 hour trip back to our hotel from the play museum and we were starving! This was the only place around and I was a little nervous but after reading the reviews we went for it. We were not disappointed. Very homey feeling, super nice staff, and the food was out of this world. I recommend the fried chicken and their soup! The Italian wedding was to die for.
