Lovely little café! The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious. Worth the trip to Summit Lake from Antigo. Excellent service from the staff.

The breakfast burrito was made to order so perfect for vegetarian visitors! We were delighted by the deep friend dinner rolls with cinnamon butter

Nice rest area. Didn't stop to eat...was a relief stop for our 2 four legged boys.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re looking for your new favorite cafe— May May’s is it. No questions asked.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile that feels more like you’re stepping into a best friend’s kitchen than a restaurant. The customer service is top-tier—we’re talking fast, friendly, and downright fun. The servers aren’t just servers, they’re stand-up comedians, hype crew, and breakfast therapists all rolled into one.

The food? Five stars across the board. Every dish that hits the table tastes like it was made with love and delivered with purpose. Whether you’re diving into one of their legendary breakfast plates or grabbing a quick bite on the go, everything is fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. You’d think Gordon Ramsay was back there working with a stopwatch.

The place is spotless. Clean tables, tidy counters, and a welcoming environment that feels like a breath of fresh air. The vibe inside is upbeat and laid-back, with music, laughter, and good conversation filling the air. You’ll find yourself talking to the tables next to you—because let’s be honest, the customer base here is just as awesome as the staff.

Bottom line: May May’s Cafe is a rare gem. Exceptional service, incredible food, great laughs, and a community vibe that keeps you coming back. If you haven’t been yet, stop what you’re doing and get there now. Your taste buds (and your mood)...

We decided to try May Mays Cafe (formerly Ruby Mays) last night for dinner. We got there about 6pm. We had steak tacos with salad and a grilled chicken wrap w/sweet potato fries. They also brought us a couple rolls that James thought tasted like Sopapillas. They came very warm and with a cinnamon butter. They were delish!

The waitstaff was friendly and kind. Her and the cook collided while going into the kitchen and spilled the SP fries, so she brought me a few on the plate that didn't spill and then got me more. The 2nd batch were cooked much darker and she was very apologetic about them being overcooked but actually...they were better...and for me PERFECT. I love all my fries or chips cooked so they are crispy. I will order them extra crispy from now on.

Quite large menu. Prices are good. Nice staff. I don't know if they take card...maybe they do? But they do have an...

The food is only adequate. Nothing special. Nothing to rave about. The biscuits & gravy was not good at all. Hard biscuits…needed a knife, using LOTS of pressure, to cut what you should be able to cut with just a fork. And at $8.95 for a full order (two biscuits) they are skimpy on the gravy, (which might have helped to have a more adequate amount to moisten the fairly DRY biscuits). So that made the order highly overpriced. Asked for more gravy and after a bit of a wait, was brought a small bowl of BARELY lukewarm gravy that was seriously cold within a minute & just got colder. The waffle was good, but extremely overpriced at $8.95 for ONE average sized (would not call it large) waffle with nothing else, (no bacon, sausage, etc.) just one waffle & syrup. Service is a bit lacking & the place is small with...
