Pleasant Valley Cafe — Restaurant in Town of Elizabethtown

Wow, I'm not sure they could have done much better reopening this cafe. I was a long time resident of Elizabethtown, and what they have done to this place exceeded my expectations.

Food was phenomenal!! Service was superb and the atmosphere is greatly improved. They even have the little touches like napkin covers in place with thier logo. Very impressed, and can't wait to go back every time I'm in town.

Etown needed this cafe to open, and Im glad the owners took the chance to do it.

Only recommendation, and this is not a need, is to buy an espresso machine. Could hire a Barista and offer some Lattes and specialty coffee drinks. I'm good with black coffee, but my wife likes the fancy coffee....

The best breakfast we have had in ages…we just spent a lovely vacation in the area and were lucky to find this new gem. Very sorry we only discovered it in our last day in the area…but we aren’t too far away and will definitely be back. French toast with a delicious fruit ( apple) compote was stellar, eggs done perfectly and good coffee. Service was friendly and prompt. Three of us were quite impressed with lunch choices; had BLT, Club wrap, special of the day bowl of pea soup with popover. Delicious! Especially good were the house-made chips, large very thin slices of potato, extra crispy. Excellent service, lovely bright room, windows on two sides. Welcome greeting...
