House That Jack Built Bar — Restaurant in Town of Ellery

Walked in to a dart board immediately to the left of my head with a couple guys playing. Walked up to the bar and wasn't sure what seats were open as people (I assume regulars) had stuff spread all over. Sat at one of the high top benches. The bartender who I assume was also the server on staff and the cook in the back, was talking to a group on the other side of the bar, walked to the back and put gloves on disappearing for a few minutes then came back up got a drink for one of the guys at the bar, went back and put gloves on again.

We spent a total of 10-15 minutes not being acknowledged at all, even for a drink. The only acknowledgement we got was from the guys playing darts saying hi, and goodbye as we walked out to find somewhere else to eat.

I wish I could comment on anything other than that but we never even got the chance to...

We went there for the first time last night for dinner and karaoke. When we got there it wasn't that busy with a older clientele. The karaoke started at 8 and was pretty good. The biggest issue we had was all of the tables were stand up and not many stools. We had to take some from another table just so we could put four together. That meant the table next to us that could easily seat 6 had none. We ordered basically bar food that was OK, but it was loud, uncomfortable, and not the place I want to be. At 9:00 the clientele started to change to a younger group. Everyone was nice and got along, but the smell of pot coming from the outside area was a little overwhelming. We may go back, but I'm sure it will be the same people that were there when we were there. It looked like the local hangout on a Friday...

Great bar. They have done a wonderful job on this place. 2 pool tables and a dart board. Bartenders were very friendly. Normal bar food but very good. Not a huge selection of drinks but they have all the staples covered. I will be going...
