There is no excuse to have your counter closed when you have four people working.

One person at the counter taking orders, cashing people out and helping to keep orders moving along.
One person at the window taking orders and cashing people out.
One more person to get the orders ready.
The problem is not available workers due to covid. The problem is too many people were paid to sit home and enjoy being lazy. There are workers out there available you just need to pay them what they're worth and treat them properly..
There are also plenty of jobs available so if you don't treat your people properly, they're just going to leave you for the next guy who does.
