Del's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of Erwin

This is a great place not only to drink ,but they have excellent food ,at reasonable prices. U definately get your money's worth. I have never had a bad meal there. One time they didn't have an item I wanted , the cook suggested a similar item and so i tried it and it was awesome. I liked it better than what I was going to have . But food is not their only strong suit. Their staff is friendly and also trustworthy . Which when u r drinking somewhere that is something u need. There r places I've been where the bartenders gave back wrong change and I've seen ,at other places, where the workers took advantage of a customer because they had had a little too much to drink, But not at Erwinna they r honest and never take advantage. This Place is an absolute Hidden Gem! Any time I come home I always pass by this place and honestly, I never really thought to stop. WOW, was I wrong not to. Yes, it’s a dive bar, but in the best possible way: laid back, unpretentious, and full of charm. The food? Absolutely blew me away. You can tell they care about what they’re putting out, and it shows in every bite. On top of that, the staff and the regulars were incredibly friendly—felt like I’d been coming there for years. Early last week I asked Dell if it would be possible for her and her staff to create a family style fish fry for a family gathering at our residence. She stated it would not be a problem, even though Friday is one of busiest days at Dell’s. On Friday, at the prescribed time, I picked up the fish fry complete with Mac & cheese all the condiments and packaged perfectly. The food was hot and perfectly prepared. I would like to commend both Dell and her staff on their commitment to excellence, we were thankful and grateful for the cuisine we enjoyed.
