I ate nothing out of the ordinary the entire week except for this. I went from fine to extremely sick hours after eating here. Most people don't even realize they have food poisoning they chalk it up to a sore tummy.

Being rude in a response will not get me to remove my review and come get sick again eating where I should have known better after seeing the quality of food in the buffet.

DO NOT recommend. Food poisoning.

Went for fish fry on Friday night. It includes the salad bar and a hot bar with some various potatoes and veggies. The cucumbers and cherry tomatoes were inedible, mushy, and either old or not kept cool enough (more on thus later). The ranch dressing appears to be homemade and tasted good, but it has a consistency thicker than sour cream, so it's not very easy to use on a salad.

Food on the hot bar was hot. The mashed potatoes were homemade and not mashed very well. There were entire chunks of unmashed potatoes. They did taste ok, though. None of the hot food tasted bad, but at the same time, there was nothing worth writing home about either.

It took 35 minutes before my first 3 pieces of fish were brought to the table. The broiled was good. The fried breading was white and mushy on the bottom from sitting too long in the fryer basket after cooked. I understand trying to save money by having people fill up before they get fish, but over a half hour before receiving any is ridiculous. I had a reorder of 2 pieces of broiled and that came out within a few minutes, but I had to ask another person walking around because my server came and went so quickly I couldn't ask with my mouth full and she never asked if I needed any.

The other ladies walking around were clearing plates and such and kept taking my cup, and then my server would get upset that they kept taking it. I swear it felt like they would come to the table purposely after you take a bite of food so you can't talk.

Overall, I was going to give it a 3 star rating until later that evening. I spent the better part of the next 12 hours in and out of the bathroom. That was the only food I had eaten that day and had nothing for almost 24 hours after because of what I'm guessing was food poisoning from the salad bar or possibly even fish sitting too long.

If I could give -stars I would. Food Safety violations in every corner of the restaurant. Cross contamination at every meal. The Chef is actually just a glorified prep cook, but most of his dishes keep coming back 😂 this place is a joke! A bar trying to be a restaurant. Just please go to Adventures restaurant! Most of the food is microwave then put in a oven 😔please don’t eat here! The chef and his girlfriend are prepping and coughing all over the food! Mixing raw meat with raw fish mixed with raw chicken! You want blackened food all the meat, chicken and fish all go in the same container of blackened spices, yes you read that right! USDA would be pulling their teeth out if they seen a 1/10 of what happens on a daily basis! Not to mention all the equipment is full of grease and the hood vents are dripping condensation and grease on top of the food and cooks. It’s looks like it’s slowly raining over the grill. NO MORE BUFFETS FOR ME! I went to 2 of the Asian buffets & it was chaos! The food was very good, but the service was awful. I decided to treat myself & went on my own. Since I was by myself both times I was seated at a high top in the bar which I don't mind. But the bartender was my server & she was super busy. The bartender should NOT be responsible for serving, she just doesn't have the time. It took forever to wave down someone to get a glass of water... I tried before & after I got my food. The bartender offered to bring extra napkins but never did. When I went to the bar for the napkins she said she ran out & forgot. When she asked the hostess to get the napkins the hostess got snarky in front of me & never did. I grabbed bar napkins. Of course I had to go to the bar to get my bill. And on top of it all the buffet cost $17.99 but I was charged $18.99! I was completely overlooked & ignored. Once I was seated I could have EASILY had my fill of food & walked out.
