Cones — Restaurant in Town of Fenton

I pass by Cones all the time and have been meaning to stop in. Last evening my wife and I tried them out. I wanted a "Flavor Burst", but their machine was down. I settled on a small dish of Cheesecake soft serve, my wife the same, but a medium in a cone. Prices are not transparent, but ice cream is a high profit item and most places give you a good amount for a fair price. Not Cones. They want to get rich fast. $12.34 for my order. When I got my quite small dish, it was already almost soup. My wife who wanted a medium cone, got a small bowl equally melted. I really hate giving bad reviews, especially on local businesses. I give Cones one star, and even that is over generous. I do hope that the owner /management takes heed to their negative reviews and corrects what needs to be corrected. If i could give this place half a star, I would. I asked for a reese's sundae with soft vanilla ice cream and reese's pieces. I didn't get any reese's pieces, and they ran out of hot fudge. I asked to have them add the reese's pieces and got dust from the bottom of the container instead of candy pieces. When i went to actually eat the sundae, I realized it was made with hard chocolate ice cream. I asked to have the sundae remade, and the server was obviously upset about it. Too many flavors and too many items/crazy sundaes on the menu for their staff to be efficient and get orders correct, For example we ordered a Mint Ting A Ling and they gave us a Great Value tasting standard mint ice cream… meanwhile they advertise Perry’s everywhere, how is a generic mint ice cream even allowed to be sold here?
