If you’re a fan of thin, crispy, brick oven pizza made with real-deal ingredients and a whole lot of love, this place is an absolute must. Tucked away with a charming, laid-back outdoor vibe, it feels like the kind of spot you’d stumble across in a little Italian village—but lucky for us, it’s right here in town.
The crust is something to write home about—paper-thin but still full of flavor, with just the right balance of chew and crisp. Cooked to perfection in a real brick oven, every slice has those beautifully blistered edges and that subtle smokiness you can only get from the real thing.
And the ingredients? Top-notch. From the tangy, vibrant tomato sauce to the creamy mozzarella and thoughtfully sourced toppings (hello, fresh basil, spicy soppressata, roasted mushrooms, and more), you can tell everything is fresh, high-quality, and chosen with intention. Even the simplest margherita tastes like something elevated. It’s pizza for people who really love pizza.
But what makes this place even more special is the vibe. The outdoor seating area is cozy and inviting—string lights overhead, local artwork or rustic touches scattered throughout, maybe a few herb planters nearby. It’s the kind of setting where you can sip a glass of wine or a local beer, enjoy great conversation, and let the evening stretch out. There’s often a mix of locals catching up with friends, families enjoying a relaxed dinner, and couples sharing a pie under the stars. It feels authentic, like a real neighborhood hangout rather than some trendy place trying too hard.
The staff are warm and attentive, and there’s clearly a lot of pride in what they’re doing. It’s not fast food—it’s food made with care, and it’s worth every second of the wait.
Whether you’re a local looking for a new go-to or just passing through and craving an exceptional slice, this is one of those rare pizza places that gets everything right. Delicious, cozy, and full of character. What more could you want?
Do yourself a favor and grab a table. You’ll be back before...
Read moreThis is one of the 5 best pizzas I've had in my life some of their pies are really good. But a few I would consider perfect.
I review based on 5 stars. Of what I've tried so far: MARINARA(no cheese): 4stars Get it with anchovies and it's 4&1/2 as somehow they complement the sauce, and I dont usually like anchovies. MARGHERITA: 5 stars. It's perfection, top 3 Margherita pies I have ever had. This pie is art that you can eat 4 CHEESE: 4 star pie still absolutely amazing. Despite me rating this pie less than the Margherita I'd still consider it my favorite pie at forage. Always consistent you know what to expect from a cheese pie. DIAVALO: 4&1/2 star pie it really could have been a 5 but I think the oven wasn't hot enough yet because I was the 1st customer that day. But the toppings were at the perfect ratio. Each slice had a little bit of every ingredient present. HOT SOPRESATTA: I have not had yet so I will not review but it looked and smelled good when I saw it. BACON & VEGS : at 3&1/2 its my least favorite pie. However it was still delicious and I ate the whole pie in one sitting. Foraged greens: have not had yet FHUNGI: 4to 5 star. This has been the single best mushroom pizza I have ever had. Though not a complaint, it's consistency can change based on seasonal availability of certain mushrooms. However that's part of its authenticity. At it worst it's 4 star, at its best its art you can eat. BIANCA: 4 star phenomenal white pie. It's not the highest rating I'll give to a pie but it's definately my favorite white pie at Forage.
Also eat the trout dip. If heaven exists and they don't serve forage pizzas trout dip than I'd rather go to the other place.
The only reason atmosphere gets a 3 is due to limited seating and how hot it gets inside. But the staff are great,...
Read moreForage Pizza is the best pizza in Sullivan County NY and is definitely some of the best pizza that I've ever had. The second best pizza in Sullivan County is takeout/leftover Forage Pizza and that's a very distant second place. It took me a while to understand their rules/suggestions until I realized that I'd stop in to grab a pizza to go and found myself eating one slice in my car and then I'd find myself finishing the entire pie because it is sooo good fresh out of their oven. Now I always dine in and you should too when you have the time.
I love pizza, I find myself stopping in at least once a week at Forage because their pizzas are amazing.
I rue the day that Barstool Sports Pizza Reviews finds this place because I'll never be able to grab a seat at their bar for a quick pie again. They'll ruin a great thing.
It's BYOB and their pizzas are amazing - what a great combo.
Pro-tip: Order any new appetizer on their menu, they're always special and don't stay on their menu for very long. And always dine in when you can.
Their Margherita pizza might be my...
