The Grill at Kitlas Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Frankfort

The restaurant itself looks a little rough and in need of updating. The prime rib was not very flavorful. Trimmed about 1/3 fat off of the 12 oz portion. My partner’s prime rib had less fat on his. They both came to the table sitting in the prime rib juice.. like a lot of it. It spilled off the plate as I cut the meat. No au juice offered or came with it. My salad had too much dressing applied to it.. iceberg with two black olives, two tomatoes, And one cucumber slice. My daughter’s fish & chips came with fries that tasted of grease. No tartar sauce served with her fish. My son’s hot dog was served on a slice of white bread. Same fries that had the grease flavor. Our waitress was lovely. She made the experience pleasant. Average food in a not so pleasing atmosphere. I will not go out of may...

Wow! Valentine's Day. 8pm restaurant half empty and the half that is there is all older folks, which is fine, but it seams the menu is geared to them. The menu had 9 choose of which r they were out of two choices and also had no mashed potatoes. $5 for 2 fountain sodas . So off to another...
