Laughably terrible. I have never written a food review but this experience begs to be shared. They are advertising as a bakery/restaurant. The baked goods are made once weekly and left on a small table. This place is unsanitary. The wait-staff was pleasant but had no clue about their restaurant or menu selections. We ordered thick cut french toast which came out as one small piece, dry on the inside, with no cinnamon and no powdered sugar; as the online pictures lead one to believe. Additionally, we ordered blueberry pancakes. Two small, undercooked, pancakes arrived...again bland but with the undertone of savory foods from a filthy grill. We spent several minutes trying to determine what flavor it was and finally settled on something like lasagna. I wish this was an exaggeration. We ordered Elderberry pie. One underwheleming piece was delivered prior to our meals. It was dry and there was not enough sugar to balance our the elderberries. This meal cost us $30. I wouldn't even eat here...

I obvioulsy didnt have same experience as others that have visited here. Saturday aug 14 early afternoon, looking at the baked goods near front counter. Two young girls behind counter, wasnt sure what cookies to get as all of them felt very hard , some bags were in crumbles. I asked about the lone bag of pb/choc chip(all crumbles) I asked if there was another bag that wasnt all crumbs. The girl asked apparently the male owner? and from the back/side of counter I heard him say "we're not selling the bag at half price!" I spoke to my friend "Did I ask for half price?" no. He was so rude, never offered an apology for being so rude. We did purchase FULL price cookies(molasses and choc chip). They were horrendous! hard and gross, no flavor. I didnt bring them back just threw them out and I will never go back. There was also a female that disciplined the young ladies at the counter as well in our presence, very...

My wife and I were in the area and she was craving French fries so I said I know a nice little diner I've eaten at many times. Now under new management. I think they've got some learning curves and some hiccups They'll need to work through. I still think it's an asset to the small community. Unfortunately there Was a lack of communication. The fries had half a bag of salt on them, pepper and some Cayenne pepper for an extra zing. No need to church up a French fry salt and peppers on the table for me to season them how I see fit. At least that's what every diner is done through the dawn of time. Unpolitable. I didn't want to say anything because I know they're new and they're trying. But without criticism there's no room for a remedy. I'll try to eat there a year from now and see if they've learned what works and what doesn't I'm a fan of supporting women pop shops so I was excited...

I hate to rate a mom and pop place with friendly struggling staff this badly, but I have to :( I went with friends for Christmas because it was a scenic drive and they were open. It was literally $91 plus tip for ice cold baked beans, dry cold canned corn, a salad bar with a tiny bowl of just shredded lettuce (like for tacos), dry stove top, a condiment cup of Cranberry, a deviled egg, a store bought room temp roll, and a sickly sweet brown sugar covered, pineapple slice from a can ham steak (like you buy at the store for breakfast), and a small piece of room temp pie. The waitress was nice, but flustered, forgetful, busy, and didn't refill drinks without being asked then she forgot a few times. I felt bad for her so tipped better than we all normally would have for that food or service. I won't be going back ever. None of us will.

Went there for the first time with friends. The place itself has beautiful rustic decor, charm & was clean The staff are friendly & service was spot on. I hate to say this, but I was really disappointed , & I was super excited to go there. The pancakes , which were all you can eat, were small & thin, almost crepe like. That wasn't my issue, I don't mind that, it was taste or lack there of. And the syrup, the crowning jewel was so disappointing. It didn't have the rich maple flavor that we expected. Only the 2 pieces of sausage patties were flavorful, tasted great actually. They do not serve eggs sunny side up, as my friend wanted, nor do they serve bacon.

It was nice chicken fingers had nothing on them fries were ok and I had unsweetened iced tea. My friend had the 3 piece chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy and soda. In the menu no refills on soda but he got another soda. Ladies room, beware of the toilet its loose so watch when you sit on it. They have the air conditioner on with windows open. We did have dessert my friend had the wrong one but the waiter gave him peach cobbler and I had apple crisp it did not taste like it at all. Its has changed a lot here.
