A friend of mine, Todd, owns this place so I'm kinda biased, but if you're looking for a place that serves great food, but not the same typical bar food that you find everywhere else, THIS IS THE PLACE. You will not walk away hungry. For instance, his cheese cake slices are 6x6 inches. His burgers are made with fresh burger from that morning, never frozen meat. Read moreI stumbled upon Wild Rose while surfing the web. I used to spend A LOT of time in this bar as far back as 25 years or more... was in walking distance in one of the 4 cabins down the path! I love how you re-did the dining area and the food pics look super yummy! I'm going to have to visit soon and check it out in person.
Btw... I saved the bar from burning down many years ago. After closing, I went back to the cabin and took a walk with my dog and saw a little smoke and inside some gaps it was bright orange!! I called 911 right away, and so the damage was I believe (?) confined to just inside the walls and siding. Would have hated to...

It was so good and an actual meal in itself with fried mushrooms, onion petals, mini tacos and fried cheese curds . The plate was completely filled and in a mound shape. Very impressive. 3 of our party had burgers and fries. I had a fish sandwich and German potato salad.Everything was very good.
