Village Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in Town of Galway

My 16yo daughter is learning to drive. She and my wife drove here to pick up pizza on 20JUL25. A lady (who indicated she was the owner) was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot when they came out with our food. Because the lot is small, my wife stood outside the car to ground guide my daughter as she backed out to make sure she didn't hit anything. After the 3 point turn my wife went to get in the car, and the lady smoking the cigarette starts giving my wife attitude, and in a very snotty voice said "if you are a driving instructor, id appreciate it if you didnt practice in my parking lot next to my dads $80,000 Cadillac. Maybe do that somewhere else with cones." My wife politely said ok, got in the car and they left. To be clear, this is a public parking, my daughter hit absolutely nothing, and my wife was going above and beyond to make sure there was no issue. I'll also point out that this establishment is also a bar. So if you are really concerned about your dad's car, tell him to drive something else to the bar where people who have been drinking are going to be, that's a much bigger risk to his paint job than a mother and daughter responsibly following the rules of the road and giving you their business.

The pizza there is middle of the road, definitely nothing special. We are of course going to be getting food elsewhere from now on, and will be telling everyone we know to give their money to someone else. Support the type of people you want in your community, not entitled bullies. Airborne,...

Last night, my girlfriends, husband and I went to the Village Pizzeria for dinner. We were seated upstarts, which was really awesome! It was a very intimate setting up there and was very beautiful, and quieter.

We were treated to a very special occasion...a magician named Bill Bing! He came to our table for around 10 minutes and did absolutely AMAZING magic with his deck of cards! He blew my mind with every trick he did! He is also a mind reader, literally! When we gave me his business card, he made it into a mind reading magic trick! You'll have to ask him to do it with you when he gives you a card too. He's amazing!!!

Dinner was delicious!!! We were treated to wonderfully baked fresh bread to start. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was huge! There were 6-7 of them and each one was bigger than a golf ball and packed with terrific, yummy stuffing. I had tomato and cheese pizza that melted in my mouth!!! My girlfriends had lasagna, that they loved and was bigger than the size of a large brick! They couldn't finish it! My husband had the stuffed shrimp with risotto and broccoli. He got quite a few shrimp that were of good size and enjoyed everything so much that he finished his plate! We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert, and let me tell you, we each got an enormous piece! We each wound up taking it home as well!

We had a wonderful time last night! We're all planning on going back again very soon! Great food, great atmosphere, and GREAT entertainment! Please go and see...

3 star based on the food that made it to the table. Went there to celebrate the day after valentines day. I had never been here, but always wanted to. The ambiance is nice and cozy, Appears even nicer In warmer weather. We were seated at a rickety table that was so bad it almost tipped over while buttering bread. The staff attempted to fix it, but it was marginally better. We put in apps. Ordered drinks, then out in entrees. Know this is a wine, beer only place. They have a huge selection of wine, but I'm not a wine guy. Wife was more than happy with her selection. She wanted another drink, it took about 20 minutes. 20 minutes after that. I asked about the apps. ( we had our kids and 45 minutes with no app and 4 pieces of bread for the table is tough on kids). I was met with a quiscal look as in the server never put in the apps. I canceled the apps and the entree came out 10 minutes later. They did bring one of the apps (calamari) to the table and did not charge us. The steaks were excellent. Good cut, and cooked as ordered. There was a shrimp in procutto entree that was toguh. But still good. As stated, there are no cordials. We spent another 25 minutes trying to get the check. The server brought the check and offered a free dessert. We opted not to. This is a nice place and the food was good. I would try it again. It was well staffed and a slow service night. I would not get the same server. Maybe she had a bad night, but it was well staffed and slow. Ambiance 5 food...
