JBC RICE NOODLES & ramen — Restaurant in Town of Gates

I feel horrible leaving a poor review, but I got so sick here. I was so excited about this place, I organized 11 people to go together to try it. I have a severe gluten allergy(celiac) and expected rice noodles to be safe. NO. The server was very kind, and even double-checked on what I could eat, but actually said, "Everything is made with soy sauce." He told me that I could get any soup, and the very first one that I named, he said, "Not that one." I'm wondering if they use the same water to boil all of their noodles because I had a full-blown case of gluten flu for days, starting as soon as I got home from there. As I said, the server was so nice, and the place is nice, but I'm so disappointed that in this day and age, restaurants are not doing better... also, I saw a question on Google asking about Gluten-free Soy Sauce, and the reply from the owner was that they do use it, but when I was there, they told me they didn't. I'll not be returning there and will spread the word that, while rice noodles are, of course, gluten-free, theirs are not...

Ok place for ramen. I came here Thursday around 6:30pm for dinner. There wasn’t any custom so I got to pick table. Restaurant is clean and all tables are booth so it’s good if you go in groups. It will be better if there is some seat cushion. I got the special meal combo with dumplings, Tso chicken, brown sugar boba tea, and Tonkotsu ramen. Food came out after 10 minutes. The dumplings wasn’t great as the filling has barely any taste. Tso chicken was good. the rice could be a little softer, it was a bit dry. Ramen broth was good as well. It was first time I had Tonkotsu ramen that had no corn, kinda strange. The pork also can be improved as it a bit dry and hard to bite. And boba, not sure if they got the wrong one, but I didn’t taste any brown sugar flavor, it was just regular milk tea. Gave 4 stars since overall experience isn’t bad, I still enjoy the food, just need improvement here and there. Staffs...

So first time going here and we ordered pickup online. We got Beef Ramen and Beef Shank Mala Spicy. Website said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later and their where no customers in the place at the time and their gentleman asked if we where their or to go. After a couple times explaining we already had a to go order online he seemed surprised and went in the back. Came back a minute later and said it would be another few minutes. 25 minutes later we got our food finally. While the food was definitely delicious I am eating 3 stars because it totally seems like they didn’t pay attention to their online orders even with having nobody in the show. An order that was supposed to be ready in 15 took 45, and it was just 2 bowls of ramen. But like I said, the food was delicious and I will probably try again based on that and hope for better results on the order being...
