Omg, this was so cute, and the perfect spot for a mommy & me playdate if you have littles! Cant wait to go back and try all the food! đŸ€€ #pureimaginationcafe #pureimagination #rochesterny #rochesternewyork #tiktokmom #herbalmom #momtok #momsontiktokover30 #mommunity #momsover30 #hotmessmom #realmomsoftiktok #momsoftiktok #momlife #fyp #fypă‚· #foryoupage

The food and coffee were ok but the (Humpty dumpy eggs were rubbery). The atmosphere definitely invites a very relaxing home-like feel with a fireplace and couches to lounge on. You feel as if you can just kick off your shoes, put your (very clean, no shoes) feet up on the couch and relax while the kids play, you drink your coffee and visit with friends. So at first it was actually kinda nice, "so I thought" Unfortunately, the one lady went around annoyingly sweeping and telling people they close at 3 and that I was not to make myself too comfortable and to let her know when I was done with the pillow I was using, so that she could spray it with Lysol đŸ€Ș..... Then, after all our guests were abruptly asked to leave (cause they were closing early), she made sure to literally drown the couches in a fog of Lysol, not even waiting until we were all outside, so that we didn't have to breathe in the toxic fumes (to apparently get rid of any cooties) haha. It literally made me and the kids gag and choke ugh!! đŸ€Ș Honestly, if the couches were even remotely clean, I may have seen her point, but they were utterly filthy! And I'm the one who now feels the need to take a shower after having sat on those dirty couches 😉 Btw, the couches have couch covers on them and so they can easily be taken off and cleaned in a washing machine "if they were that concerned about germs", but they look as if they haven't been cleaned in years!! Ps, I moved back here from Tennessee just a few months ago and I can definitely feel the difference in the way people act and treat other's. There is a sorta negative attitude here and though I noticed it a bit before I moved, I noticed it more than ever, now that I'm back from living down south... "Deff not in Kansas anymore" 😎

Wow. It’s beautiful and theme is delightful—I kept seeing things that made me grin, whimsical names of dishes, menu artwork, thoughtful “touches” like copious games for all ages and books, and the little kid space—oh my, it deserves a chapter! Yes, the exterior sign is uninspired, but that’s the only thing that is. Food is good, we especially liked the coconut latte and the rocky balboa sandwich. I really appreciated kid menu items! Food was priced in line with other similar places—you’ll spend the same at Panera or Jitters. It wasn't particularly fast, but we weren't in a hurry. Since we have a 1- and a 3-year-old, the playspace was the highlight, and the reason for my raving review. There is a mostly-enclosed well-designed and stocked kid space. Like a mini-climbing vines. Seriously. Puzzles, coloring, blocks, trains, play kitchen, diner, market.... I feel so lucky it’s right around the corner. For a long time I’ve fed my coffee shop habit several miles down the road that has a bin of toys for kids and 2 high chairs, but is otherwise standard adult coffee shop. I am just blown away by how wonderful this place is for a family like mine.

The couple of times I came here 2 years ago I would've given it 5 stars; great breakfast and coffee. Now two years later I have a kid and figured we should go back since I hadn't tried their lunch and they have the play area for kids. I was DISGUSTED with the way they have let this play area go compared to what it looks like in the pictures. From far away it looks harmless but as I was in there playing with my toddler I noticed the light up/ sound toys are broken(why have them if they're not going to work.) These toys are so dirty it looks like they were picked up right from a curb and never cleaned, I'm talking came out from sitting in a garage for 20 years, that's how bad. There were even ants crawling on the toys, that was our cue to leave. I know kids don't notice the difference between clean toys and unkempt toys but as a preschool teacher it honestly hurts my heart that kids are expected to play in that filth. That toy kitchen you see in pictures is completely torn apart, dirty, missing SO much food. I'm talking less than 10 pieces of food. They could easily buy all new toys for $1000 every year to keep it nice for those children but they could care less. They just want the parents to come spend money. Our cauliflower crust pizza was good, coffee was good, husband said his brie, Cranberry and turkey sandwich was bland and my adult grilled cheese wasn't even toasted, just warmed to melt the cheese so was very wierd to eat melted cheese on plain white soft bread...

Just discovered this gem in Rochester and instantly jumped to one of my top places to visit! The shaken espresso was DELICIOUS! I’m excited to try other coffees. The breakfast sandwich was yummy, plan to try a panini or wrap next time.

All staff members were extremely kind and calm under pressure: a line formed multiple times and they all worked together which was nice to see!

There is a kids corner with TONS of toys! My 4 year old enjoyed playing for hours. We saw kids of many ages come and go (1-5+). It was great to discover a place where adults can enjoy themselves just as much as their kids can. There are lots of seating options, and it’s spacious so you’re not on top of other guests. A very welcoming environment. Bathrooms were very clean as well.

I wish they had two computers running to take orders, I think that would help with the speed of service, especially if you’re just popping in to grab a coffee on the go. The signage/wording of service times was a little confusing (breakfast availability/lunch availability/etc.) The menu says breakfast is until 10:30am but then was told that’s just for the egg bites by an employee so it was just a hair confusing.

Nonetheless this is a must go spot!! As a coffee lover I’m so happy to find another local spot to support! As a mom, I’m over the moon to find a spot where my child is welcome; I can meet up with friends and...
