Suzie's Diner — Restaurant in Town of Geddes

Suzie's Cafe, located on State Fair Boulevard in Syracuse, New York, is a small, comfortable dining establishment specializing in breakfast and lunch only.

We arrived around 10:30 on a Saturday morning to find the dining area moderately filled. We took a seat in the corner and were promptly greeted by our server, who was extremely pleasant and conversational. After serving us a coffee and orange juice, she navigated us through the menu choices, further explaining that although omelettes were not on the menu, they were certainly an option.

We decided upon a ham, sausage, and cheese omelette, as well as one with mushrooms , tomatoes, and cheese, both of which came with home fries and toast.

Both omelettes were very good. Although not overly stuffed with our choices of fillings, they were enough to satisfy our appetite.

The home fries were pretty bland, even with the added onions. I found myself adding salt a couple of times, even though I very rarely put salt on anything. Also the toast was a bit soggy.

By the time we departed around 11:45, Suzie's was almost filled to capacity. The cafe is clean, inviting, tastefully decorated, and has a friendly atmosphere. This was my 2nd time at Suzie's. This time we were on our way home from a dog show. It's small, but the staff is just super. Jack pays attention to each and every customer. Pre bussing tables, topping off coffee, and enjoying conversation with the customers. The breakfast selection is fantastic. They even got creative with the breakfast menu. Some of their selections I've never seen before were their Macaroni and cheese Omelette, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meat stuffed french toast! My 1st time there was due to a tragic death in my family. Suzie's was there for us. I had an extremely distraught husband, 3 dogs, and his 90 year old grandmother. His grandmother would not eat anything. Suzie's menu is so diverse, I tried some of everything. As it was, I wasn't able to leave my loved ones often, or for long, I was able to order enough food for all of us for a couple of days, and not having to eat the same thing twice. I ordered over the phone, drove over, & everything was professionally packaged, with plenty of napkins, and plastic ware. Suzie's really saved me. Corned beef hash and eggs Hash was good, eggs were cooked perfectly as ordered, if any complains to be found the toast might have been under toasted

Belgium waffle (special) Tasty fluffy waffle. Sweet strawberries and creamy whipped cream. Could have eaten two!
