888 Cheese & Co. Door County — Restaurant in Town of Gibraltar

On a recent trip to Door County, Wisconsin we stopped by Lautenbach's Orchard, and in the parking lot by the vineyard we spotted the 888 Cheese & Co truck. The young man there was super kind and helpful, and shared his descriptions of their sandwiches. Look at the menu image for all their choices.

We chose a classic, with superb local cheeses on perfect Italian slices, and then the PB Juan which not only has local superb cheeses, but adds maple pepper bacon, fresh jalapeños, Lautenbach's amazing chopped cherry jam, all those mouth-watering flavors perfectly fused on delicious toasted Italian bread! Surely this sandwich has won some type of award. The team at Lautenbach's told us all the choices at 888 are great including the soups.

If you are in Door County hitting the best vineyards and stores like Lautenbach's, don't miss this small black trailer out by the vines and the barn. Great young man...

Just traveling down the road and stumbled across this at the winery/orchard. Stopped in for sone cherry items and wanted a quick snack, so we opted for here. Got the mac daddy sandwich..and let me tell you, absolutely delicious. It was huge, im glad I had it to share with someone. It was so creamy but also so buttery and crispy. Highly recommend...
