Stony Ridge Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Goodman

Something definitely changed. Had been here a few times in the past and stopped on Sunday. The waitress was very pleasant, but extremely busy. My family and I ordered the chicken dinner special. Our dinner came and the mashed potatoes were ice cold even with gravy. Our vegetables were cold as well. I tried to get her attention multiple times to no avail. Finally was able to get an older gentlemans attention and he said he couldn't hear me. The waitress finally came over, took our plates, supposedly asked for the potatoes and veggies to be warmed up, and the plates were returned. The plates were warm but the food was not...I understand it's not the server's responsibility but it's frustrating nonetheless. 2/3 of the meal was not eaten on all three of our plates because it was ice cold. As I was driving home from my trip to Wisconsin I decided to see what kind of restaurants I could find on the way before I got too far into my journey. This was one if the first results and it sounded like a pretty nice place. To my surprise, as I neared a gas station, my GPS told me I had arrived at my destination. I pulled and decided to check it out anyways. I was very happy I did. I decided on the Stoney Burger Deluxe with house garlic fries and cheese curds. It did not disappoint. I was particularly pleased with the garlic fries. At first glance, you might think they're not much to brag about, but after the first bite you'd be convinced otherwise. One thing I'll mention, if you're a tipper (as you should be if you're going out to eat) be sure to tell them how much you'd like to tip before they run your card or pay cash, you can not add it on the receipt after...

Food has always been good but lately there has been a waitress, Chris I think her name is, doesn't ever come over and ask if we want refills or dessert, me and my party have watched her eat out one of the ice cream toppings when she does ice cream which is disgusting since she's using her hand to put it in her mouth as she uses the spoon.
