Jen's Pit Stop — Restaurant in Town of Granville

We came here after the Poultney 4th of July parade. It DID NOT disappoint. The young lady at the register was polite, friendly and thorough. We had a pretty big order and it was done so quickly! The burgers were delicious and fresh. Hubby got the chili cheese fries and he said they were outrageous. Dessert was equally amazing. The kids got a strawberry cheesecake sundae and a traditional hot fudge sundae. They were ENORMOUS. We will definitely be back. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. You won't be disappointed. There is plenty of free parking and lots of outside...

We just happened upon this place and thought we would give it a shot. I'm glad we did, it checked all the boxes for a great spot to stop for lunch. They have much to choose from, we went with a footlong dog with hot chili, a deluxe chicken sandwich and homemade fries. Everything was cooked just right, the fries still had a little bit of the skin which was my favorite thing and the chili dog was right on the money. We didn't get to enjoy their ice cream but will definitely be back in the future to try...

Ice cream here is fantastic, try a small vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. The brownie sundae is also a hit. Can't speak to their regular food but I will say they stick to their hours of operation closely! Don't show up at 7:55 and expect service, was a little bummed by that but the sweet treats are worth the visit if you can get...
