Katys — Restaurant in Town of Great Valley

My fiance and I went here tonight. I was so excited to try it out. Heard great things about the food.

We arrived , and was noticed immediately, told to sit whereever we like, and drinks were served within a reasonable time. Then we made our order. We waited.... and waited.... and waited... finally received someones elses order, after waiting about 40 minutes just to get the wrong food. We had to call the waitress over to tell her that it was incorrect. She mumbled something and grabbed it and went to the kitchen.

Let me tell you though that both my fiance and I didnt realize our food was wrong right from the start and we both handled the food in front of us. We inspected it, we both got burgers and wanted to see how different they are, incase it was tolerable to eat anyways. We moved the veggies around the burger, I even tried the sauce on top of mine because I didnt recognize it on the menu... so basically we man handled the food in front of us.

The waitress took the food we touched and gave it to someone else in the place instead of remaking it. Then she came back to us and said ours was going to be redone. We both said nicely not to bother and that we were going to leave. She quickly turned her back and mumbled something again, this time i said excuse me, she ignored me and went in the kitchen... so we left.

Horrible service, will never come back. The food looked good. Too bad the people that work there cant get orders correct and also cant be polite to their customers . What shocked me the most is the fact the food we handled was given to someone else, instead of made fresh.

I should have told them and I feel bad for not telling them. Shame...

TERRIBLE, the service was terrible & the food was not so good either, really wish we had gotten the other server because then at least the experience would not have been so bad. There was a special of Brie & apple panini so I ask our waitress what came on it as I am a vegetarian & wanted to make sure there was no meat, with a bit of attitude so says “just what it says” when our food came out the gentleman behind the bar brought it to us & it had bacon on it so I told him I could not eat that and asked for just Brie & apple on it, later on he brings out the new panini & it have mayonnaise! I hate mayonnaise… I ate some because I was starving but it was terrible. Also when we ordered my fiancé had asked what the soup special was our waitress said there was none, 5 min later we heard the other waitress tell the table next to ours the soup special! After we ordered our waitress never came over & checked on us, she didn’t even bring my tea to me that I had order, I had to ask the gentleman for it, he was very nice & brought it to me, & we appreciated his help as he was going out of his way to help us knowing our waitress was not taking care of us. Our waitress was no where to be found...

Great little find after a beautiful day of antiquing around the area. Portions were huge...in fact, a bit too huge. Food was good. Service was a bit slow, but we never felt that the waiter wasn't paying attention to our table. The place was busy and that's a good thing! 👍 I had the shrimp and crab fettuccine... very good, but it was too much. I felt badly wasting it. My husband had the fried chicken... loved it! He finished most all of it! The only comment I have is that it would be helpful if the menu had more detailed descriptions of the food. It was difficult to figure out what I wanted to order because the menu lacked these descriptions. What is raspberry gorgonzola chicken? I should have been able to read it in the menu and not have to waste the waiter's time by having him tell...
