Forest Hill Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Greece

We went there with a group of four good friends last night. Most had the seafood platter that was absolutely fabulous. Food was 5 star. Our server was the best. The only complaint we have to make is there were two tables of 4 that were very disrespectful, screaming loudly and making everyone else in the restaurant feel uncomfortable. The last straw was when they started slamming their glasses on the table and broke them, cheering loudly. It got kind of scary being in that atmosphere. Our waitress kept apologizing to us for their behavior. The owner was there and should have thrown them out but didn't. I understand they are regular customers and the restaurant is small and could be loud but that shouldn't condone their behavior. We told the owner we wouldn't come back if he allowed people to behave like that. It wasn't a nice dining experience and I know some of the other diners felt the same way. If you were one of these disruptive, disrespectful people, please stay home next time and let other people...

My pregnant wife and I live in the neighborhood and she likes the fish fry here. I always order something simple because they have served us less than quality food before (we have never complained). I ordered the chicken sandwich special, and we decided to get it to go because the staff seemed miserable. The bill was $46 and I tipped $10, and we headed home. They even charged us an extra dollar for each meal, the bartender said they do that for to go orders. They had never done that before, and that does seem a bit strange. When I opened my food it was fries, a dry over cooked piece of chicken and a bun in tin foil (pictured below). Since this was not the first time I’ve gotten a questionable meal I decided to call them and let them know I wasn’t happy with the meal respectfully. She advised me to comeback and speak with the owner. When I arrived the owner just threw $46 on the bar and told me “ Don’t ever comeback again”. Very unprofessional establishment, with terrible service and below average...

Owner was incredibly rude on the phone. Told me that he refuses to make food for take out, that they are incredibly busy, and then hung up the phone in the rudest manner. Definitely lost out on our business for life. I called back and thought that maybe there was a disconnect, but the owner just hung up and didnt say a word after i asked for clarification. Rudest person. The one time i did eat there, they are still using styrofoam containers with hot foods, well known to be cancer causing and is banned. In addition, the french fries were lackluster, while the chicken tenders were average. I assume you go here just for seafood.
