Dyckesville Bowl — Restaurant in Town of Green Bay

My family and I have been going to Dykesville bowl since I was in middle school (I am 40 now, so a long time!). Since the new owners have taken over, service has been terrible (beyond acceptable).

Tonight, for example, after we bowled, my husband went to the bar to give our dinner order. The gentleman at the bar said his shift was over so he wouldn't take our order. After slow service to even get to bowling, our patience was wearing thin.

So we sit at a table waiting for a waiter; a woman delivered food to a table, stood there talking for over 10 min, and then sat at the bar. Meanwhile, no one has taken our order.

We decided to leave. Also, we could have easily left without even paying for bowling but since we're good people, we paid.

I don't know how you all plan on staying in business when you don't know who has paid for what and the service is so awful.

A buddy and I rode our bikes 108 miles when we saw this place had roughly 4 stars and thought we'd give it a whirl. After camping in tents and eating oats and rice for a day THIS is just what we needed :) We had cheese curds, double burgers, a couple of beers and we bowled a round...and it was all perfect! The staff was friendly and we ordered what people said were good and we were not disappointed. The burgers are char broiled and the curds are fresh, and the fries are quick in front of you when you order. I don't normally post but I wanted to make sure that I did for Chuck's as it was a little slice of Heaven for some warn out travelers.

Update: stopped by again this summer and the burgers and cheese curds are still good. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and she craving it some 4 weeks later 😀

We stopped in to bowl a few games and grab some lunch. We ordered a mushroom swiss burger, hamburger, wings and of course the cheese curds. The only thing that tasted good were the curds. The mushroom swiss burger looked like a can of shrooms were dumped on top of patty and a slice of cheese on top. There was no flavor to this burger and it was extremely overcooked and without any flavor. The other burger was also without flavor and dry. You typically can stop into a place like this and get an amazing affordable burger. It appeared that very little effort was put into a simple meal to cook. The staff was friendly and attentive, just low quality food. We will only return...
