The Ridge — Restaurant in Town of Greenfield

We called ahead, and when we arrived, we were told 20 minutes. We waited at least 45 minutes, if not an hour. When we were ordering, they were out of prime rib and a lot of other stuff, so most of us settled for other than what we wanted. I had fish dinner, cod was ok, but the food took 40 to 45 minutes to arrive. Salad bar was ok. They were low on both soups For the price we paid, the food should have been excellent, I can go to any restaurant and get the same fair for much cheaper and we would be seated more promptly (considering we had a reservation) and maybe gotten the prime before it sold out. They changed the menu and no longer offer tenderloin steaks. However, I tried tried the Ribeye steak for $37.00 and my husband tried the sirloin steak for $25.00. Both steaks needed. Not good period. They both needed plenty of jaw power to chew them with very little meaty flavor. Their on-line menu is for looks only. Those items do not exist. We made a special trip for burger Tuesday and they weren’t even open. We came back on Sunday for a Twin 6 Tenderloin and it wasn’t off the menu. No ham dinner either. It was our place to go for REAL STEAK. We always took our company and friends to this awesome steakhouse. We are now looking for a great steakhouse elsewhere. So, so...

We went for the brunch buffet. It was ok, the bacon kind of had an off flavor, the biscuits for biscuits and gravy were tough, I could barely cut through them. It was like chewing on a hunk of meat. For the price we could have gone to north country steak buffet and had many more options.

The service itself was decent and friendly. Attentive.
