First of all I'm not from around here and I will say that the lady that took our order was HORRIBLE, she was not friendly at all she pretty much acted like she hated her job so therefore her customer service was very poor. I ordered small onion rings and with the blue cheese that came with it and ranch cause that's what I like and my Bf likes the blue cheese she said yea sure then he also ordered ice cream, we got our order and mentioned that we didn't get the ranch I had ordered and asked if we could go ahead and get that she said it will be an extra .60 cents we were like well we paid for it she said no I never rang it up so I said well could we just give you the blue cheese back and replace it with the ranch she said that we were still going to have to pay for it. So I said forget it and at that point she gave me a nasty look and shut the window. Oh and as we were waiting I seen with my 2 eyes her lick her hand and then serve us our food. I will say that was the grossest thing ever. I was not pleased with the service I got from that...

Me and my grandmother were out on a drive and I suggested ice cream. When we realized we were close to the country drive in, we pulled up and saw that the hours said they were closed at 8. It was 8:08 and the nice girl said that she could take our order. So when I pulled out my card, she said that there was an atm around the corner. When I came back a big family had gone up and got ice cream. So when I went back up, payed for the ice cream, and waited, the other nice girl serving the ice cream, had accidentally put it in the others peoples faces out the window to hand it to me. Unfortunately my grandmother has just gotten diagnosed with leukemia, so she wasn’t able to eat that. When I went up and explained to the nice girl why she couldn’t eat her ice cream, she was so apologetic, so sweet, and made my grandmother a fresh ice cream so she could enjoy one with me. I didn’t get the girls names but they were very sweet. I was already having anxiety about the whole thing but they were very nice and we need more people like them in the world!...

Today was the first time I have been here in 10 or 15 years. I was here now and then 25 years ago when I lived closer. Now I visit eating establishments to try the fare. I am a frugal person that does not desire "high class" meals. I had a hot dog with mustard, onions, and meat sauce, fries, and a diet soda. It was a bit pricey but received a large amount of fries. I have to say I really liked the meat sauce. I also got a kiddy size cone. They had a soft, low fat yogurt. A plus for me. It was good and at a reasonable price. There was a lot of places to sit down. Many picnic tables, under umbrellas and a covered patio with picnic tables. That is where I went. Very comfortable. The only location issue is that it is very close to a semi- busy road. It was surprisingly quiet, however. But one must really be careful pulling back out on to the road. One must also realize, this is a cash only place. Not quite a 5 star for me but more than a 4. All in all, it was an enjoyable lunch and if I am close again,...

My wife and I stopped here last Sunday before going to SPAC for a concert. I looked up the menu online prior to going and I grew up in Clifton Park so I've known this place since it opened. Ice cream was always their reputation. This time we ordered 2 fish frys, cheese bites and a large soda. I mistakenly assumed they took credit cards. So I had to go to the ATM to withdraw $40 to pay for the $32 order. I had to get in the back of the line of about 6 people and once I finally got back to the window to pay with cash low and behold I only had 3 ten dollar bills from the machine. The girl at the counter shrugged her shoulders like saying too bad go back and get more cash. I was so upset at this point and thankfully a kind heart who actually let me cut in front of him paid the difference. BEWARE of this scam at their ATM and shame on the business for poor customer service. On top of this the back and forth made us late getting to the concert. Plus I'm out $12.75. Smh

Came here on a Friday night around 7. Wasn’t as busy as I was expecting, which was good news for us. There are around 20 benches and parking both sides of the windows. Food was quick, hot and fresh but I thought was a little pricey for what it is. Large onion rings was $8. Don’t get me wrong, this was enough to feed 3 people and they were very good but at the same time, as that where we are at right now that we need to charge that much? Fries, again large, we much more reasonable and good fries, I’ve had good fries and bad fries in my time, these were good fries. Buffalo chicken sandwich, again a little overpriced for what it was but it was solid enough, nothing to write home about. Ice cream, was a 4/10, flavourless, disappointed here big time. Overall not a solid experience, can see why it has its charm to many that have been coming for years but with so much choice of similar foods in the area, would not be rushing back anytime soon.
