Jamdots Baking Co. — Restaurant in Town of Harrietstown

Drove by it at first because the facade just has a huge SLove sign above it. Interior didn’t have the bright vibrancy I was hoping for for a new bakery. Felt very dated and uninspired. Definitely took food to go. I got the banana bread to see how it compared my favorite at Capisce in LP. It was dense, fudgey, however not dry. I also got the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. They layer in a hash brown (?) which I don’t think added anything except calories. The sandwich itself didn’t give me comforting homemade vibes. I don’t think the sausage was seasoned or homemade(?)…could be wrong.

They appear to have an amazing catering program which is initially what caught my attention. Their cakes and cupcakes look phenomenal from what I saw...

I feel compelled to write a glowing review about my experience working with Gemma and Jamdots Baking Co. Gemma created a cake for my son's post wedding party and cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower. We asked Gemma, on very short notice, to recreate the cake from my son's wedding and she not only was able to replicate it from a photo but she was more than happy to accommodate our tight timeline. She was such a joy to work with that we asked her to make cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower. We loved them. Stopped in to Jamdots Baking Co. on my way home from spring hiking. I was looking for a place that would be open early during the down season. Most of the places I wanted to try were either not open yet, or not open on a Wednesday. So I was happy that this little spot was open! I met Gemma, who was super helpful and friendly. I got a great cold brew and molasses cookies which I promptly ate on my drive out of the mountains! I also snagged some homemade marshmallows, which I can't wait to try. The storefront is unassuming and you might miss it if you're not looking, but I HIGHLY recommended making it a point to stop in and sample...
