The place just opened up today and had a great experience. The burger was really good and so was the jalapeno poppers. I don't know how the server did it but she did a great job keeping up with everyone in the bar. Look forward to seeing what specials they will have in the future.

Some friends asked my wife and I to join them on an ATV ride to Derek's to get lunch. This was our first visit, but it won't be our last. The service was slow (only a bartender and a cook working), but the short wait for it to be our turn (there were 5-6 other ATV'er that had arrived just ahead of us) was worth it. The burger that I had (The Wumbo) was delicious, and the drinks were cold! Everyone in my group had different food items, and we all agreed the item we got...

Derek has a very big heart! He was there for our families friends and all volunteers. A year ago today we had two young people go missing in the woods. The following day when search efforts resumed Derek opened his doors and served everyone and went above and beyond! Unfortunately both young people lost their lives due to the weather. I’ve visited Bundy, WI a few times now. I’ve been to Derek’s 3 times in total. Each experience was unique and fun. The staff is really friendly. The food is delicious. I’ve had the fish fry and pizza. The atmosphere is definitely northwoods, which is exactly what one is looking for in Bundy.
