very disappointed with this place. use to be really good. tonight I ordered a pizza to go with 2 toppings. I get home only to find out they forgot one. I called to tell bartender and told her I wasn't very happy. Her attitude was very lax, apology not sincere, no offer to correct problem or credit me for something I paid for but did not get. Left a more than fair tip. Won't be going there again. Fair warning for take out guests....check you order before leaving! Not the first time I have been dissatisfied, but I kept trying to give them a chance. Now I'm done. There are better places out there with better food and service. Small, friendly country diner serving great comfort food. Friendly waitress and local folks. I was there the first time today, Aug. 16, after passing by many times on my back-roads route from Rutland to Queensbury. Had no problem getting in with my large wheelchair. And the OMG Omelet I ordered-- well-- OMG is the perfect name!! It was huge, delicious, and they put some country gravy on top for me. One of the biggest omelets I've ever had! Co worker suggested we do something for food than the usual, so we ordered out. I use the Reuben sandwich as a way to gauge new eateries. Unfortunately, this didn’t go very well. Fries were soggy as well as the bottom piece of bread, corned beef was tough and as you can see from the picture, the bread surely was “toasted”. Positives were that it was a well built sandwich, plenty of beef and the price wasn’t bad for the amount of food received. May just have to try something different from the...
