Co worker suggested we do something for food than the usual, so we ordered out. I use the Reuben sandwich as a way to gauge new eateries. Unfortunately, this didn’t go very well. Fries were soggy as well as the bottom piece of bread, corned beef was tough and as you can see from the picture, the bread surely was “toasted”. Positives were that it was a well built sandwich, plenty of beef and the price wasn’t bad for the amount of food received. May just have to try something different from the menu next time.

Stopped here on our way to the new Slate Town Brewery in Granville. They are pretty much the only game in town restaurant wise . The dogs were good. The bun was grilled and the hot dog had some snap. The fries were homemade and crispy. The wife had the buffalo chicken wrap. She said it’s contents were good but the wrap was very stale. It was rock hard stale. Otherwise about what you’d expect. Decent diner food.

Nice little place on a main thoroughfare, 142. Very small menu, which is nice. The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the hash browns. Coffee was good. Prices are relatively low. The server was very friendly, taking time to converse with customers. The restaurant overlooks some beautiful hills and a dairy farm. Really nice view.

very disappointed with this place. use to be really good. tonight I ordered a pizza to go with 2 toppings. I get home only to find out they forgot one. I called to tell bartender and told her I wasn't very happy. Her attitude was very lax, apology not sincere, no offer to correct problem or credit me for something I paid for but did not get. Left a more than fair tip. Won't be going there again. Fair warning for take out guests....check you order before leaving! Not the first time I have been dissatisfied, but I kept trying to give them a chance. Now I'm done. There are better places out there with better food and service. Tried to erase star... they aren't...

Small, friendly country diner serving great comfort food. Friendly waitress and local folks. I was there the first time today, Aug. 16, after passing by many times on my back-roads route from Rutland to Queensbury. Had no problem getting in with my large wheelchair. And the OMG Omelet I ordered-- well-- OMG is the perfect name!! It was huge, delicious, and they put some country gravy on top for me. One of the biggest omelets I've ever had! Wonderful flavor, good coffee. If your travels take you south of Granville and through...
