Warning kinda long post. Spent the week in Cooperstown as my son was playing at Dreams Park. We had a great week and awesome service everywhere we went. The whole week coming and going we see Maskots as it’s directly across the street from Dreams park, and seeing the big “Got Pins” sign we finally go on our last evening. It was busy, we got in the long line. As we’re waiting there’s another sign inside about trading pins. My son see’s a guy behind the counter trading a pin with another kid so my son goes over to trade a pin. He asks if he can get a Maskot’s pin, the guy tells him no, that the owner has to trade with him to get a Maskot pin, and he’d have to come another day. He said he could get some random pin from a bucket they have. It was unfortunate as almost all the places in town that noted anything about trading pins had no issues trading a pin. We left, as the line was taking forever and the pin situation left a sour taste. We went to Jerry’s and they had no problem trading him one of their pins. Can’t speak about the quality of the food. Hope others have a better experience...
Read moreWe recently visited Mascots near Cooperstown Baseball Dream Park, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the location is undeniably convenient, especially for families visiting the park, that’s really the only highlight.
I ordered the wings, which were cooked well with a nice crisp, but the sauce was disappointing. I asked for medium, expecting a balanced heat, but instead got something oddly sweet and completely off the mark. My wife ordered a sandwich and barely touched it, and my son had a similar experience with his meal.
We initially thought maybe it was just us, but after comparing with other nearby spots, it’s clear the quality and flavor just don’t justify the steep prices here. For what they charge, there are far better dining options close by, both in taste and value.
In short, great location—but everything else left much...
Read moreVery busy place being it is across from Dreams park. Pizza is decent, pretty average. Lots of room inside and the outside seating is nice. Service was just a young boy walking outside yelling names holding food. I could raise my hand and take anything, if I was that type of person. The other issue was the price. A family of 4 a pizza, 2 fries, and 3 drinks almost $60 is insane. Then my son asked for a 16oz bottle of chocolate milk and I almost passed out when the lady said $5, I pay that for a gallon at home. Nice place, cool spot next to the axe throwing, waffle ball field ect. But for the actual food way too over priced, one one of my top recommendations while in town unless you are next store at the axe throwing/batting cages or...
