We had breakfast 2 x. Generous portions, great value. Remember, its a diner so no fluff. Just good food. Coffee top notch..never burnt, always fresh. Oj a full 12 oz or more glass. Friendly owner/cook/old school...you will never leave hungry. Went back for prime rib specoal. Tasty in a nice au jus. Served w a side salad and crusty warm bread. Husband had eggplant parm. Really good. Served w a big plate of pasta and fresh dare I say tomato sauce. We have a garden at home and make similar sauce. Went back for fr toast and eggs next am. Great food and value.

Family restaurant with quality food and service. The veggies in the omelet were fresh. Cooked perfectly, thoroughly but with a slight crisp when biting into, even the tomatoes cooked but still had their shape so not mushy. French toast was delicious and soft. All around gGreat homecooked quality. Great way to start the day.

If your looking for more for your buck, this restaurant is the place. The owner is the cook, and he has a sense of humor. The waitress was sweet and she held it down being the only server. It's not fancy, but it is good. Even if your passing through.

As a "foodie" I eat out alot trying new places. Saturday late afternoon why on another road trip my girlfriend and I came upon this restaurant. We walked in and found a seat. Very clean place. The "locals" (4 tables worth) were chatting amount their self's. Making for a charming atmosphere as they were very engaging. Service was fast. We're We're there two min when the owner/cook/waiter/busser (yup one guy doing it all. And may I say flawlessly without missing a beat). The menu is large with great specials,. The portions are large, burger and fries with pickle and chips (Saturdays special) took two plates. My GF had the open faced turkey (Took up a full platter). We're cooked to perfection. Desserts were amazing as we shared due to portion sizes. I have never gave a small town restaurant five stars. This is the first. Can't wait to stop in again...

Over the past eight years I have passed this little restaurant on my way to and from visiting family 45 minutes north of here, but I never stopped. Couldn't get a seat in another place north for breakfast so I started home and this was the first place we came upon. This time we stopped. Nice little place. The gentleman working seemed to owner, cook, waiter, busser, cashier, dishwasher, you name it he was a one-man band. We had breakfast and while it took a little longer than most places, my omelet was outrageously good. The owner was friendly and by the looks of the other reviews and some of the pictures they posted I am looking forward to going back for lunch or dinner on my next trip to the area. Remember this is not the place if you are in a hurry but if you want it done right and good....stop on in. I...

I’m not one to write reviews, but in this case I had to. This was probably by far the WORST service experience I’ve witnessed out to eat EVER ! ... The waitress was rude, and very inexperienced. We waited and waited for up to an hour. Eventually she said “ he’s making it now, we are next “ after people got served before us, who sat after us “ ... him btw, was the owner cooking in the kitchen. This was a Sunday morning. Everyone is out to eat for breakfast. We ordered eggs and bacon. How hard can it be to turn that around. Other people got up and walked out, and eventually we had to do the same. Never again will I eat here or recommend it to anyone. Very poorly run, terrible service, and no doubt cutting corners by the owner, attempting to cook in the kitchen to save money !!

DONT...
