This place was an awesome stop and would really be fun to do during other times of the year. This was the offseason so quite quiet. With a great view it would be really neat location most any time of the year winter or summer.

Located on the water, friendly staff, tasty food (even breakfast). Boat or snowmobile season, CLL is definitely part of the weekend agenda!

We stopped in for food and gas for the boat, and the service was great 👍, food was awesome. I highly recommend this resort.

Bad service under new owners again, did Leinie tour and our bottled beer was not cold. Remodel job is tacky and looks cheap. Menards fake brick walls. And you can't get a paper menu if life depended on it. They have a menu app and the waitress had to turn on the TV that shows what food they offer. She also had to take a photo with her cell phone to take outside to show people on the patio who wanted to order food. And, they evidently do a daily buffet. Pizza looked old and dried out. Past the point of anyone wanting to eat it. It should have been thrown away. They added a shelf above the bar that has a sag in the middle from too many bottles resting on it. A very funny experience. New owners have officially recked what Original owners worked so hard at making a must stop when on the flowage. The place wast not busy when we were there at 3pm on a Saturday Memorial weekend. We'll be back again next year to do the Leinie shirt tour, assuming they are still in business. We have no reason to go back past the two beers we needed for the tour. Similar experience last year when we did the tour. Too bad. Were in the area weekly through the year. And, fyi Tyvek is good for 90 days and you've had exposed Tyvek since last winter. Rudy did much better job before these guys. They're getting...

Great food and great views. With that being said service in these times is a little trying at best. which is completely understandable, we get there, sit down at the bar first off never got asked if we wanted menus. get a couple drinks, wait maybe 15 minutes and order the Steak Bites and Walleye Bites (both very delicious) we drink our drinks and wait for our food. Food comes maybe 20 minutes later. we eat, no bartender anywhere for refills, we ate an entire meal with not an drink of anything. She was literally running around bringing drinks out to tables because there is not enough staff to man the restaurant.

Meanwhile earlier in the morning we were having some boat trouble and wanted to see if they rented boats, spoke with the cook, she told us to speak with the owner who was sitting directly across from us at the bar. We told her our story and told her that our motor was over heating we are staying right up the road. Mind you we are 4 and a half hours away from home.. She then asks us if we were staying at her resort, we said no, she then tells us no she can only rent them to people that are staying there. "It's busy season" September 20th 2021. Needless to say we won't be returning to your...

Stayed next door for the week, and ate here nearly every day . Our two teenage boys had the wings several times, broasted chicken was amazing, their pizza is fantastic, our daughter enjoyed their kids chicken strips and I opted for the salad bar (they have a great basic salad/soup bar). Their Tuesday special is tacos, I had the chicken tacos which were fantastic (really, best I’ve had in years) as well. And their water is phenomenal, we all opted to have it at each meal vs the usual soda… it really is that good. Typically we don’t go back to places this often but everyone asked to go back daily, they offer enough options that no one got tired of it, and everyone left more than satisfied. Prices were reasonable as well and the service was always spot on. We did get pizza from another local well known place and everyone agreed they liked Chiefs pizza better. Truly great food, we just wish had a local place like this back home, reasonable prices and consistent, good,...
