Had a great lunch this past Thursday! We must have passed this place 100’s of times while driving up north. Finally stopped in.
Very good food, including a big hamburger and flavorable chicken sandwich. The fries were fantastic, even the leftover ones we reheated in the oven the next day. My wife was so so happy they had Diet Coke!
Service was friendly and fast (Jamie?). Very “up north” vibe with game and fish mounts on the wall. There was even 4 women happily playing bridge at a sunny corner table and bar dice activities at the bar that must have the most comfortable bar stools around.
Finally, I was so happy they did not charge a service fee for using a credit card. I despise those fees that other restaurants have implemented.
We will be back soon to try out the pizza...

Fish fry was expensive at $18 but was a nice light, crispy batter that wasn't greasy. My wife had a bacon cheeseburger, and it was good! Solid tap beer selection!

The Friday night fish fry was overcooked, dried out and slim on the coleslaw and baked beans. The shrimp was overcooked and chewy. The chicken sandwich was bad too, with black fungus growing on the iceberg lettuce we took off to prevent getting sick (the cook served this to customers). We do not plan on returning here in the future, since there are a lot of better places to go for a fish fry...
