We love everything about Lucky Hare Brewing. It's one of the businesses that makes us proud to be Hector Locals.

To start: the beer is fantastic. It ranks top in the Finger Lakes, which is saying something because the wine trail has popped up a lot of excellent breweries.

The atmosphere is really low key and has a great "at home" kind of feel. I love their pebble patio in the shade as well as their sunshine picnic tables overlooking the lake. Their covered porch is excellent for a more drizzle rain day.

Ian, the owner, is also wonderful. As is his staff. They do a great job keeping up the quality of their flavors and making people feel welcome in an intimate setting.

The addition of "Babe's Burgers" really rounded out the establishment. The separate but equal food service is great. The juicy and quality burgers make it a great dinner spot. Their vegetarian burger is also fantastic.

Everything about this place makes it a great date night.

I do want to note this isn't a great place for a large group. The entire business really is designed around accommodating a more intimate, relaxed setting and isn't set up for a large group (say a Bachelor or Bachelorette Party). There just aren't any large tables - many more two-tops and four-tops than big tables you can pull together. I'd recommend keeping your party...

Great beer and fantastic burger. Unfortunately, though it is advertised as dog friendly, we took our LEASHED dog to enjoy the experience and it turns out they don't seem to require or enforce leashes on dogs. Some entitled punk kid had his black dog unleashed and allowing it to roam and run to our table and attacked my dog. He showed zero interest or accountability for his actions and dog and did not even apologize or acknowledge. According to a few separate individual regulars there, they said this is not the first time he has caused problems with his incompetence in caring for his dog in public spaces and it is unfortunate he is allowed to continue terrorizing this establishments good food and beer while remaining shamelessly unaccountable and aloof to societal norms and behavior. If u see a punk kid with a big black dog and a daisy flower hanging out of his hat then take your dog to another brewery instead. Not worth the risk and lack of accountability.

And as can tell from the lack of responsiveness from the company while replying to everything else, it is demonstrative and affirmed that they are unbothered and lack of remorse by this at their...

We have lots of great things to say about this place!

From the outside, this Brewery doesn't look like much, but "don't judge this book by its cover!" You'll know you're at the right place when you see the old pickup truck at the end of the laneway.

We actually ended up visiting this Brewery twice in one day, first thing in the morning, and then again just before dinner. Both times proved to be popular with the guests. There's plenty of seating on the back patio as well as in their Garden area, where they host live music.

The group of women that I was with are mixed bunch, they enjoy wine, ciders, beer and cocktails. It seemed that the raspberry mojito was a huge success!

They have a small selection of merchandise to purchase, and Cold Cans from the cooler.

Dogs are welcome, however they have to stay on a leash.

When you're there, don't hesitate to order something from Babe's Burger, you won't be disappointed! We had large quantities of food, and ALL of it...

This place was suggested (more like forced) by a random local, so we went there after our recreational activities. Overall, we liked the place. They have good seating options viz. benches in the shades of trees, round table & bar stools on a dock. Couple Corn holes. Beers were excellent, but I personally think they could have offered more draught options. Goose Rica was the best. Def try. Flight glasses are tiny (seemed 4oz) and are not entirely filled. Babe's burgers - Chicken burger with bacon was scrumptious, bean patty was good as well, like usual. Babe sauce was so good. But, prices are high! - just the burger (with bacon) was $17 + tip =$20 (not a good deal)
