I recently visited The Rolling Joint Food Truck and had a pretty solid experience. If you're using Uber to get there, it might tell you that it's at the corner of Sunrise Highway and Oakland Ave, but it’s not directly on the corner. The food truck is actually located in the center of the Wantagh LIRR parking lot. If you're coming from Sunrise Highway, a helpful tip would be to enter Ferguson Plumbing in Google Maps – it’s directly across the street from where the truck is parked. As I get older, I’ve found I can’t eat just anything, but I was able to enjoy my meal here without issue. I went with the fried tortellini with chicken (no bacon), and the sauce was served on the side. The chicken was flavorful and cooked well, and the portion size was perfect — filling but not overwhelming. Honestly, the serving was just right for the price. One thing I’d note is that the container could’ve been a little bigger. It was a bit of a challenge trying to keep everything in the container without making a mess, especially when the food is this tasty. The order was ready pretty quickly, which was nice. Overall, I wasn’t head over heels for the place, but it was definitely good. I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in the area and craving something different!

My friend brought me and my other friend to this place on November 7th (2021) and holy **** ITS AMAZING!!! I won’t lie, I’ve had bad experiences with food trucks in the past, just way too greasy and cheap quality period. THIS TRUCK HOWEVER—phenomenal. I ordered their half fried tortellini, with the bacon jam of course and nearly melted 🤤 I also got the half fried grilled cheese with bacon jam! I couldn’t take the picture fast enough before my mouth got to it because it was so good! At first the grilled cheese was a bit buttery but that was because I didn’t bite into the bacon jam. It gives it a nice balance, my personal opinion, a bit of sweet, a bit of salty, and not too bitter. Definitely not overpowering either, which was really nice to experience at this Food Truck. I would 100% recommend going here! The woman Nicole is the nicest woman ever, and not just because we share the same name lol she was able to have a legit conversation with me and my friends and she wasn’t dismissive. She actually liked being there and any worker with that kind of attitude deserves recognition. Thanks again Nicole! I’ll be coming back soon with new friends, hungry for more šŸ¤—

Worth every mile from Maine to Wantagh! I originally found out about this truck when a friend sent me one of their videos from Instagram with one of their tots specials. Since my daughter is looking to go to college in Hempstead, our weekend college visit was the best excuse to get to Wantagh! We ordered chips and dope sauce of course, the Acapulco tots, Hippie chicken (spicy), and the pre rolled fried cake. EVERY single thing delivered on taste and experience! The dope sauce was KILLER, the creamy/spicy sauce on the sandwich was so fun, and the fried cake was moist and delicious-especially with the FRESH whipped cream. The REAL star of the show though, were the tots!!! Crispy perfection, and the balance of the ricotta, bacon jam and dope sauce was PERFECT!!! I could not stop eating them!! I already cant wait to go back on our next trip to Long Island.

3 months ago... June 2024? It's fresh, it's awesome. "Which dish do I recommend" you ask, Mr Google? Click a button? Probably all. Depends on taste? Where's the Primo button? My fave is the Primo, a fat shrimp sandwich on a roll, the not-spicy version. Comes with a tasty slaw on top, and bacon butter on the side. Put it all on. It's large enough that I didn't finish it once or twice. May try the new pork-burger next, sounds enticing. All the desserts are tasty. The fried cake seems to switch up every now and then, all lip-smacking. (Waiting for your fried chocolate cake version to get back on the menu. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more.)(Did I miss one with Strawberry, too?) The Mozz sticks are crunchy perfect. Service is fast, friendly. I pick up. My order is usually brought to my car. A dinner item, a side, and a dessert item may put you around the $30 range. So worth it. You'll be happily satis-filled when you are done. With a BK meal at around $15.00, The RJFT is pretty much a no-brainer. Eat here! Easy decision! You'll be glad you did!

9/6/24 Update Try Bellmore Station Plaza... might have moved... couldn't find him last...
