Giuseppe's Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Holland

We have driven by this place numerous times, always on our way somewhere. Today we decided to stop, and I'm glad we did!! Although the dining room wasn't yet open, we were offered the counter or a patio in back to sit and eat. We went in and was greeted by a very friendly woman who gave us menu that pretty much had anything that you could think of, on it. So many choices, all sounded good, but we decided on subs, with a crab cake app. The same woman who greeted us brought our food out to the patio, with a smile ( yes, I could tell under the mask!) We both had a style of parmesan subs, loaded with cheese and sauce, which was very tasty!! The crab cake were also equally tasty, I wouldn't exactly call them cakes, more like balls... But who would order crab balls???!! I would order it all again, or try something else on the menu. Glad they were open, and we are happy to support a local...

It's small, very small, in fact the parking lot is larger than the dining room! But once you take your seat and order, you will be so glad that you found it! Our waitress wasn't Mary Sunshine, (several visits same cold personality) but she was efficient! Everything was fresh, hot and obviously homemade! The salad was spectacular! Fresh and crunchy and beautiful! We each ordered different pastas, they were plentiful portions, and both were hot, cheesy and delicious! I don't like bread but their toasty garlic bread was fabulous, I almost ordered more, then I saw the desserts! Too full to eat there, we each chose a pie flavor for home. It was a good thing that we didn't eat them there, or we would have ordered whole pies to take with us! We can't wait to go back!

In my personal opinion they have the best pizza in the area! Anything I have had from here is great, a few that were so so but still warrant 5 stars. The zeets and spinoli are must haves from here if you have never tried them. FYI zeet is like pizza log type food and the spinoli, not sure about the spelling but ask and they will tell you, is a bread with a spinach mix in the fold but if you like spinach you will love them. Only thing I had that I didn't really care for was the steak salad, because they use like steakums meat not real steak, but I did eat it. Try it out you wont be disappointed and it's one of them small local place that needs to stay...
