We had gone down to Horseheads for our favorite Pudgies Pizza, but the parking lot was freshly paved and blocked off. It being just around 7pm, we were nervous that no other pizza places would be open much longer. My son suggested Fratello's, so we drove on over. What we experienced was THE BEST PIZZA we have ever had. (And we are big-time Pizza lover's.) The cheese was so delicious and plentiful, the sauce was perfect and that crust.... well, it knocked all our Sox off. Just the exact crispness to the bottom crust and the flavor at the end just made me sad that I was too full for another slice. Our server was very nice and efficient. While the food was good, the front counter experience was enough to kill my appetite. One girl behind the counter offered me a menu which I had requested and gave me time to overlook it. When it came time to order the girl at the register made it a point to look through me. I waited a few minutes and then another couple came in behind me. She talked around me to take their order. I was wearing no camouflage, and I take up enough space to be easily noticed. Not until she pointedly ignore me and made sure I knew I was with eye contact did the initial girl finish her task and come help me. The food was good which earned 2 stars instead of one.
