Service was poor with spotty moments of attention. No one greeted our party for seating and after a very uncomfortable wait, we needed to approach the bartender for a waitress. When she finally arrived she was quite short and gave a strong message that she was too busy to wait on us to the point of almost demanding we spew out our order. Crusts on the wood fired pizzas were charred and toppings of cheese, pepperoni and garlic were as well ... edible but not much better. All the pizzas were exceedingly oily ..... a sign of inferior cheese and over cooking to the point of separation. Not recommending this location ... EDIT: at this time. When/if we return this review may change. David 1.5 million total views to date.. EDIT: Bryan makes a good point - wood fired pizza is not for everyone. Knowing George Shenk since before he started American Flatbread and enjoying what may be the beginning of the popularity of wood fired pizza, I do judge all wood fired pizza against that Gold Standard.

We visited Pier 31 want for the first time on a Saturday for lunch with 4 adults and 1 toddler. Pier 31 is a unique open air bar and eatery with a wood fired pizza oven and a decent menu with good variety. We ordered 2 jumbo shrimp cocktails, 3 pizzas and a PB&J off the kid's menu. We had about a whole pizza left to take home. The service was great. Morgan was our lead server and even though the staff were young, their experience, energy and excellent teamwork created a first class dining experience. This is a family friendly establishment and there are even games for kids (young and old) inside and out. Plenty of dock space for locals to boat in, jump out and have lunch or dinner. Highly recommended that you join in the fun!

Had this idea that spending the 4th at Sodus Pt would be a good idea with my 2 best girls (Mrs C & ginger). Capt Jack’s ain’t dog friendly so, googled an alternative. OMG!!! Tucked away on the other side of Sodus Bay is Pier 53 - a well kept secret 🤫 on the water. Open air bar with fantastic nachos & a welcome mat for our dog! Katie our server was awesome! Also, played “Happy Birthday” for me, like I was a regular. Owners came up to us & treated us like they’ve known us for years! If you’re ever near Wolcott & wanna have a cocktail, I strongly suggest you come here. I’m so impressed with today that I’ve written this review while I’m still at my table! We’ll be back, I promise!!

I had been hiking the trails over at chimney bluffs and was looking for somewhere close to eat afterward. The description on google sounded wonderful, and the menu pictured sounded great. However, upon arrival, I must admit, I was disappointed when I was handed a paper menu with limited options and nothing like that posted here. (Albeit, I realize the pics are from like 3 yrs ago and we all know a LOT has changed during that time.) I was there, so I ordered simply because I was hungry and didn't want to go in search of another place. The food wasn't bad, as far as bar food goes. I just had my hopes up for pulled pork and a salad. Don't get me wrong, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance and views are great. And business was picking up around the time I was heading out. I am not certain, but I feel like there has been a change in ownership fairly recently. Just a few things I picked up on while sitting at the bar. Whatever the case, I hope the wrinkles are ironed out and that this place soars to all...

Went there with a group for a friends Birthday. It was terrible. I had the pulled pork Sandwich. It was so burnt and dry I could not eat it. I told the server and told her to take it off. A little while later she brought me a new one. I wanted to eat with everyone else so I did not touch that one. She charged me for it anyways. I took it to the garbage. Then I ordered a couple drinks for us got the first round but don't order a second one. I stood at the bar for a while. Then the bartender asked what I wanted and I told her and she went and waited on someone else. The bartender and Manager both went and drank shots with a customer then came back and asked what I ordered. After telling her again I still had to wait. They were not busy, that is the worse part. The also had the checks all mixed up and charged people for the wrong bills. Would not recommend or will...
