A Touch of Naples — Restaurant in Town of Hyde Park

This is the best pizza you can get in the area. Period. It has no competition for that title.

I've worked as a paramedic in the area for 8 years and have eaten at every pizza place within 15 miles. There are several good ones, but nothing touches Naples.

The prices are totally fair, the slices are massive, the quality of the ingredients is great and the staff clearly knows and cares about what they are doing. It's reflected clearly in the quality and consistency of the food.

The flavor is great. They make their own sauce and they make it perfectly. The acidity, sweetness, spiciness and savoriness are all balanced perfectly. The dough is firm and strong with just the right amount of chew. The cheese is good quality with minimal grease and great flavor. Everything about this pizza is every bit as good as anything you can get in NYC.

If you're like me, the idea of a "salad pizza" sounds like a horrible abomination that should never have been allowed to exist. Sounds aside, it's one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. It is just as savory as a regular pie, but everything is light and crisp and refreshing. You have to try it to believe it.

Seriously, if you live nearby and eat anywhere else you are wasting your money and your appetite. Take it to Naples. You will not be...

A Touch of Naples is a humble NYC-style pizza shop I had planned to try for a while, and I'm glad I finally did. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which is always a good start. The pizza was exceptional and met my expectations.

As a pizza lover and somewhat of a pizza snob, I don't necessarily need stylized pizza, just good pizza that is not dry and not thick and doughy. The pizza at A Touch of Naples hit the mark! I started with a plain slice to test the waters and then had two slices of "Joe's Pizza."

The "Joe's Pizza" is the legendary Poughkeepsie pizza from when Joe's was located at Stitzel Field in Poughkeepsie. The "Joe's Pizza" was exactly how I remembered it from years ago. This is a perfect stop for pizza enthusiasts! I should have tried...

Best pizza in town! And... the family that owns and operates the business are super nice and very helpful! Always an enjoyable experience stopping by... lots of different slices to choose from.. or just order a full pie! The garlic knots are incredible!! As far as I'm concerned, there aren't any disappointments on A Touch of Naples menu! It's not often that I give a 5 star review... I'm tough but they earn it every day with their great food and excellent service!

Ps- they've got a "giant" slice that's sooo big, you could use it as a pizza umbrella if it rains, stay dry, then eat it and fill your belly with it's savory deliciousness!!! Love this place, stop by and say hello to Mario and his lovely family...
