Ronzoni — Restaurant in Town of Hyde Park

We have not had pizza here in a couple of years. This use to be our go to spot but it had went down hill significantly as far as the quality of the food you get. Well last night we decided to try them out again since they have that Mega deal (2 pies, 6 wings, garlic knots and a 2 liter of soda for $20)and we had a few people to feed. When I went to pick it up I found out that there was a new owner for the past 2 years and said maybe that's a good thing to myself. Upon arriving home we dove into the pizza first. The crust was not as well done as we like it but very tasty. They could have been more generous with the toppings on the pizza but it still tasted very good. The sauce has a nice flavor to it as well. The garlic knots were big and had a nice garlic punch to them as well. We had ordered mild chicken wings which were good to. Overall we were very pleased with the food and will return in the future. They also deliver and have some really good specials if you pick it up yourself. Keep up...

I am going to give Ronzoni 4 stars based strictly on their extra cheese pizza. They have a deal on Monday's, so throughout the years we have been ordering pies. Last night it was the quintessential New York pizza...the kind you miss when you go on vacation. It was the kind you want to order when someone out of state visits. My husband and I agreed that even though it is not always 4 stars it is always good and they make it affordable. Consistency is a great thing when it comes to take out. I hope they get lots of business when the new hotel comes into town. Until then, I encourage families to make Monday their pizza night and buy an affordable pizza from Ronzoni. Ordered for first time the Classic Supreme (comes with a bunch of toppings). Would not recommend at all: super soggy crust, incredibly thin crust so no wonder it got soaked through, olives thrown on top in big handfuls without any care at all to spread them out so just big clumps. On top of that, something tasted really off like either one of the meats was bad or something with the dough (tasted and smelled like a cross between rotten meat and when a rag is used over and over and not washed and then left to dry).
