Very disappointed and disgusted. I went Saturday to grab a coffee. None was ready which was fine only took a few minutes. Let me really start with the lack of customer service period. So rude no greetings and God forbid anyone smiled. So I order a large coffee and a bagel. I literally said 3 time little cream and sugar. The coffee was cream with a splash of coffee flavor 🤮 then Im waiting on bagel watching owner one blue glove on one off counting money from her leather bank bag. Counts money never takes glove off never washes hands is now touching pastry trays and anything and everything. Looks at me waiting and rudely says what do yoh need. Umm how bout the bagle I ordered 15 minutes ago. Proceeded to make my bagel with same disgusting dirty glove on. Needless to say it was a waste of $ I was way to annoyed and disgusted to say anything as I know I would have gone off so I left and tossed it all and then proceeded to the corner store for food not contaminated. If you can't handle a tiny coffee shop don't do it. I've worked in customer service over 30 years and cant imagine being so rude and miserable even on my bad days. You suck it up no matter what smile and be pleasant. Should be ashamed of your demeanor and worse off disgusting habits that can make people very ill besides how many regulations it goes...
Read moreThe atmosphere is nice. Loved the use of the original chalkboard as the menu board. However - the prices are really high for what you get. Ive rarely, if ever, spent so much on a single coffee, even in cities - $9 for a 20 oz and I'm not even sure it was 20- and that was before tip! I ordered a mocha (which is a menu item) and somehow I was charged $2 extra dollars just for the mocha - shouldn't that be included? If syrup is an extra $2 that seems crazy to me - especially when we are considering a beverage that requires the syrup in order to exist. No prices or upcharges were listed on the menu board (picture attached). The mocha was old and congealed. The drink itself was very milky; I didn't taste espresso. I love mochas, I purchase them often at various locations so I know what they taste like. I certainly wouldn't object to a higher cost for an excellent drink. I don't like posting poor reviews of small businesses and I understand this is a new business, so I wouldn't tell someone to not go there, but I'm not sure I...
Read moreMy coffee and avocado toast were great but my daughter's hot chocolate tasted like slightly chocolate flavored hot water. Watery and mostly tasteless. We asked for whipped cream for her hot chocolate and they did not have any made up until we were walking out the door. There is only one big table to sit at inside and it was occupied the entire time by what appeared to be friends of the owner. Every time someone would get up and leave, their chair was quickly taken by another friend. It was too cold to sit outside and so all was left was to sit at a narrow bar off to one side which was very uncomfortable. Overall not the coffee shop experience we were looking for. I think we will go somewhere...
