Sips Coffee is a fabulous family run cafe. The interior with its earthy tones makes it a perfect relaxing spot for a cuppa and a chinwag or reading a book.
A vast selection of hot/cold drinks were available. We were definitely spoilt for choice! The baked goods looked delicious, however we didn’t try any as we already had breakfast but looking forward to sampling them on our next visit.
We had a Sugar Maple Latte, Seneca Coffee and a Hot Spiced Chai Latte. All the drinks were delicious especially the Lattes as we could taste all the flavours.
The local art/photos on the wall were a fabulous addition to this already perfect environment. It’s lovely to see a business support another business in their new venture.
The staff are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the coffee making equipment and techniques in great detail.
The mugs, coffees, caps, chocolates, frames and many more items add an extra special touch to this already chilled out cafe.
There is ample seating both inside and out.

Read moreI've been going to Sips for over three years now pretty routinely.
Starting off with the good: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, plenty of seating (except when it gets really busy), great music (mostly jazz) and clean establishment. The food variety is limited but it has generally been enough as long as you don't go daily and even it’s more than most coffee shops provide.
My current complaint is that they tend to run out of bagels really early in the day. Sometimes they'll be gone a few hours after opening and other times there will still be a bagel or two at 1 PM. Since my schedule is constantly changing, I miss out on their delicious bagels about half the time.
I've amended the review because I think they really got their QC and consistency down, which makes this one of the best little coffee shops in Rochester. Every once in a while there is still a fluke, but in general I think it's a solid place and the cost...
Read moreIf I could give them a 6, I would. My wife and I have been coming here for a couple years, at least. The coffee and lattes are excellent. We frequently will do breakfast wraps with our drinks and sit and chill. I recently found that I have a problem with wheat so today I ordered a breakfast wrap minus the wrap. It came on spinach and I think they put even more pesto than usual. It was awesome. The pesto here is the best. Apparently, they make their own. I think they once told us they make three different versions. The girls are very friendly and always smiling which in my book is wildly important. They recognize us and I’ve seen friendly conversations with the regulars. We are not quite at that level but they know us. Anyway, we will keep coming. Here is the one slight downside, they are quite small and sometimes full. In nice weather, you can sit outside. They could use more space but I still grade them...
