The Crow Bar — Restaurant in Town of Jackson

Stopped last evening for a cocktail. Asked the bartender what kind of bourbon they had and she had no idea. Looked at the bottles all grouped together and ordered a Jefferson and ginger ale. After 5 minutes was told no ginger ale. Ordered it with 7up. After drinking it for awhile the bartender told me it is $15 a drink for the Jefferson. Can buy a bottle at total wine for $28. We asked about food specials on the board such as Gulf Coast special. Neither the bartender nor the cook had a clue what it was. Plus when I questioned the drink charge the bartender ignored us after that point. You might want to train your staff so they know what they are doing. Very disappointing visit to a bar we...

Great food(we had a reuben, fish sandwich and burger/fries...all fantastic!)...great people...great service..great atmosphere! And most importantly kid friendly!!! Which is a huge bonus!!! Games and toys to keep the Littles occupied while waiting for food which was hardly a wait! One of the guys playing pool even gave my son a bunch of quarters to play a game he was playing which was extremely thoughtful and kind! We tried to give him some back after he won but he insisted my son keep them! That meant alot and was appreciated greatly!!! Thank you!Awesome peeps!! Will definitely be back when we're in...

Great service and friendly staff in our experiences. But the bartender wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu options, and gave wrong information. When he brought the food out, he said "the special actually comes with fries instead of coleslaw" etc., followed by "I hope you still want it." The special was halibut, and it looked like fish sticks from the freezer section at Wayne's, not impressed... The Crow Bar burger was tasty, and the special sauce was good.
