Somewhat expensive place to eat at. It was over $100 for 3 of us. My husband had 2 Coors Light beers. My son and I had cherry Cokes. Their dinner rolls have a lot 2 B desired. They R totally devoid of ANY COLOR and half raw inside. They're extremely STINGY on a few things. The butter they gave our table BARELY was enough for our 3 dinner rolls. It consists of yummy whipped butter. It's really tasty, but they give the entire table a super small cookie/ice cream scooper full. The cracker basket was a total joke. No breadstix at all. Just a wheat cracker, Ritz and Club crackers. And literally EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE WAS EITHER SMASHED OR BROKEN!!! Absolutely not one package in one piece. The "salad tray" was a joke. 2 slivers of green pepper, 4 small baby carrots, 2 chunks of Celery and the same sized small scooper of cheese spread, potato salad and meat spread. There was also a tiny dish of Ranch dip. We waited 15 minutes 2 get our 3 salads. And then that's bc we finally asked another waitress to check on our waitress and Salads. Another table right next 2 us of 4 people came in AFTER us, yet they got their Salads and FINISHED them b4 we got ours! When we finally got our salads, they were laughable. Tiny doesn't even fully describe them. Literally 5 bites and done and gone. But my Ranch dressing was absolutely yummy. My son's Italian dressing was nasty. Had a funny ingredient in it. None of us were fans. My son's steak was done perfectly, but MASSIVELY UNDER SEASONED! Was extremely disappointing. He got Steak Diane and the sauce was a DELICIOUS Dijon mushroom one. So yummy!!! His French fries were delicious too. They're a steak fry and perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and tender and fluffy on the inside. My husband's ribs were NOT good. Very much over cooked...and we got there right as tgey opened! His shrimp were excellent though. Battered and deep fried. Their cocktail sauce leaves a lot 2 B desired, however. It's extremely thick and pasty. Not very flavorful either. He also got hashbrowns with a cheese sauce. At least it WASN'T A NASTY UNMELTED CHEESE SLICE!!! They were nice and golden brown and crazy crispy on the outside. My scallops were awesome. But they only provide them prepared/cooked 2 ways...battered and feel fried or BOILED!!! I'm in my early 60's, been eating scallops all my life. Absolutely NEVER HEARD OF THEM BEING BOILED!!! At first I thought it was a typo on the menu and thought that they meant BROILED. So I inquired. NOPE...BOILED it is! So I got the deep fried. The number I got was extremely impressive. 12 of them. They were NOT sandy or gritty in the least. Very sweet and nice sizes. Also NOT greasy at all either. I by passed the cocktail sauce and got drawn butter and lits of lemon. The butter came out room temp, not even hot, much less warm. The candle was down pretty far and wouldn't stay lit or, obviously, get or keep my butter warm. Very disappointing. I finally reached my breaking point as I couldn't find our waitress yet again. And I wanted a new candle, we desperately needed more Napkins, and my son and myself wanted pop refills. Finally got everything we needed/wanted. The one thing about my scallops that I wasn't thrilled about was the ungodly amount of batter on my scallops...like literally 50% batter!!! While the batter was excellent, it was far too much. I opted for the fresh vegetable medly...broccoli, Cauliflower and carrots. I asked for cheese sauce on them. I knew I'd get charged 4 it. I did not know the tiny amount I'd get. MAYBE 3 TBs is all I got. Extremely surprised and disappointed. While the cheese sauce had great flavor, the 3 vegetables were totally over cooked. And I got 3 small carrots circles, 2 tiny pieces of Cauliflower and the rest was all broccoli. While the food was hit and miss, our waitress was terrible and their tables R too close together and much too small. My son and I kept elbowing each other CONSTANTLY !! Drove us both nuts. I'd definitely B hard pressed to go there again any time...
Read moreHad reservations tonight. Got there and we were sat in a decent amount of time. However, when we got to our table, the service was awful. Not one person acknowledged or even greeted us. We sat there for over 15 minutes with not even a look our way (the place was busy but not so busy they couldn’t at least get our drinks). Another group came in after us, they sat them, and their waitress greeted them, took their orders for drinks, brought them their drinks, and started talking their order all while we just sat there and didn’t get a chance to meet our waitress/waiter. So we decided to leave to head somewhere that our money would be accepted. This was our friends’ Anniversary and it was completely unfair to them. We all got up and made our way out of the restaurant, passing the bar, and two gentlemen that worked there at the bar. We told them we were leaving and not to worry about our table because we would no longer be coming to this establishment. They didn’t say much. As soon as we got out of the door, one of the gentlemen ran out and said we had to pay for the complimentary relish tray that was at our table (they are at every table), which we paid for, and didn’t mind paying for. However, a restaurant should be more focused on what they could do to make customers happy and not try to push them out the door even more so. He said it was $7 and stood there with the door wide open. We handed him a $10 bill and told him to just keep it and that we would never be back again. Worst service I have ever received!! Shoot, I can’t even say received because we didn’t even receive anything….not even acknowledgement that we had even existed walking in their doors. They may want to rethink their staff, their management, their whole approach. They are losing customers and fast! Went over to Country Heights and had a wonderful meal with fabulous service and food. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money on this place. It...
Read moreI was coming here once a week regularly for a couple years and I love their food, cannot argue that the prime rib and the steak/shrimp combo is the best in the tri-state area.
However, my last experience here will probably be my last. For a long time I told my coworkers and friends what a great place this was. I got 12 of us together to come over for dinner over there and we were treated less than unsatisfactory. Made a reservation for 12 two weeks ahead of time, my wife and I came in 15 minutes early to attend to the crowd, the bartender was rude, and wanted to take our order at 6:01 when there was still a few people coming. At 6:59 they came around with the checks and none of us were done eating or done drinking. We hadn't even been there an hour nor had we all finished paying our bills and we were asked to vacate the table. Rudely on top of that. I would think if you make a reservation for a place at 6:00 with 12 people that they would give you more than one hour to sit down, eat your food and have a few drinks over some friendly conversation. The food is good but it's not so good that I'll allow someone to treat me like that after spending over $700 in their establishment. It was embarrassing to my wife and I that they treated us and my coworkers that way. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back again.
Add on to your building for Christ's sake if you're hurting for tables that bad. you'll certainly lose a lot more business besides mine if you continue treating customers this way. Guaranteed.
Have a nice day.
Oh, And that woman bartender that usually works Saturday nights is the grumpiest person in the world. She should find a new profession for...
