Can't rate the food, never able to. Have gone a few times. They don't take reservations on weekends, so it is a cattle call. Wait for over an hour, maybe get a table. But they tale reservations during the week. That is just a counter-productive way to do it. It's busy on weekends, so reservations would streamline the process,do away with confusion and frustration, and would be smart and good customer service. So we went on a Wed at 4:20p.m. right after they opened. They always act like it is an inconvenience to deal with us as customers, it's seems. Place was virtually empty and sat us at table 8. The worst table was half of the seating area in the kitchen walkway. Wow, what a terrible seating spot for a customer. So we asked to be moved to another table in a virtually empty resteraunt, and we were told no there tables available. All others are assigned? WHAT CRAP! We were there for about 10 minutes and no waitress or even a hello from any of the staff. Some we got the hint. We were not welcome and have insulted, inconvienced them by showing up at their restaurant. So we left, never to return. I have never had such bad customer service and just been treated so that I would say if your not part of the old established crowd here, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME! I went for the first time after work today. It was around 4pm. There was a lady manager (black shirt) working the bar until the bartender came in around 430 or 445ish. Everything was great and I thought id have a good review to leave. I ordered 1 drink and then asked the bartender if I could order a side of bacon for my fully certified service animal to snack on while I drank. She acted like it was no problem even confirming how much I wanted. Then took payment, before I got the food. That's fine. However, a few minutes before I got my food she approached me and stated 2 things which then turned this 5 start rating into a 1 star. "You can't have your dog on your lap at the bar" - which is Incorrect per the law. As long as my animal isn't on your bar/tables/etc OR causing a disturbance, you Can't tell me where to sit. That's segregation, and it's illegal. Wait til im about to get the snack for my animal to inform me that there is no eating at the bar and the food would be in a Togo container...... you Simply could have informed me that when I talked to you about ordering the bacon snack. Not that it matters!! But my animal is 12ibs, made 0 noises, doesn't shed much, and all the older customers around me enjoyed him. He just layed in my lap, you can check your cameras. The bar service was ok. Only two tenders for a full bar. They did the best they could. We had a room in the dining area for a birthday party, so our reservation got us seated quickly. We ordered it took a while for the food, but our group was large, so understandable. The food come hot to the table. The lobster was a bit tough, as was the steak. Not much flavor either. We ordered a stuffed baked potato, but it came like mashed in a tin pan baked in the oven?? There was supposed to be mushrooms and cheese in this stuffed potato. That would be a big NOPE! Never again after getting our table were we asked if we wanted any drinks. At the end of the meal they never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. Though we had brought in a birthday cake, they still could have offered coffee. We had to practically chase down staff to get drinks and coffee. Then once you get it, you had better nurse it. Because they are not coming back to ask if you want another. It has been years since we have been here. It will be years again before we go back. I would say it a 3 ⭐ restaurant.
