For being what seems like a non-chain market in the area I liked their selection of interesting goods ranging from food to snacks to alcohol! I was visiting the area from NJ to hike on a recent weekend and our lodging wasn’t far from this market. I tried a few snacks like chips and ice cream which were good. Pricing seemed a tad high for a few items like their prepared food, I acknowledge I know nothing about that process. Just note that as of my visit they do not have jugs or gallons of water, just water bottles. I drove to the nearby Stewart’s for the water jugs. Also they have a minimum $10 credit card charge.

The best local baked goods! The blueberry cinnamon roll was the best I’ve ever had! Great texture and full of berries! They also have great locally produced beef jerky and beef sticks and many other locally produced goods. They sell house-made salads, soup, sandwiches, including gluten-free options. They have Speedy Earl’s Coffee in whole bean/ground and hot to-go too! So much food, drink and gift items in a small store! Worth checking out!

Great stop for lunch - very cute shop with lots of food, snacks, coffee, and gifts. Could work as a grocery in a pinch. There are some picnic tables outside, and some adirondack chairs and garbage cans more easily eat there. $10 is a lot for a sandwich, however, especially when it's a bit soggy from sitting in the fridge. I really enjoyed my zucchini whoopie pie, though! All in all, I don't regret it, but it is a bit pricy.

So, we've been coming here for years. 2 days ago, 1/31/22, my family of 6 were greeted immediately upon entering with a RUDE: "YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE WITHOUT A MASK... THIS IS NY!!" Seriously!? First off, the courts had ruled against the mandate, so she was technically incorrect. Secondly... To BARK at us like we were LEPERS is a perfect recipe for losing customers! Thirdly... I'm aware I'm in NY... Duh! Is that supposed to mean something over and above NJ or VT??Fourth: You're vaccinated, wearing a mask, more than 6 feet away AND you probably have a plastic screen divider between you and the client!

So, we took ALL of our business to Stewart's down the street where their customer service and pricing was superior and CHEAPER for all 6 of us! Wow... You give NY a bad name... Fyi.. We're from NY! MAJOR FAIL! I'm sure we're not the only one's treated this way. Btw... Do some REAL research and you'll learn that 99.9% of masks do NOT protect or stop even the common cold! I can't believe I even have to state this simple TRUTH by now.. 🤦‍♂️

My old post from 2 yrs ago: Great place for organic, fresh made food daily! A must stop in when to your in...

I’m very impressed with the selection of food there. In general, prices are not the cheapest, but the quality of premade food is well above average. And there are numerous vegertarian and vegan options. I’ve tried pretty much all of the salads and bowls from the fridge, and each one was delicious. Ingridients are creative and healthy, like wild rice salad with quinoa, edamame, tomatoes, scallions etc. or my favorite, soba noodle salad with bell peppers, cilantro, and other veggies (see photo). Desserts are equally awesome - my husband always disliked tiramisu, until he tried the one I got myself from Cedar Run and said it was amazing. Regarding prices, most or the smaller salad packages are $5 or less. That mind blowing tiramisu is $6.99 and is enough for two. There are different sorts of homemade humus and dips, mostly around $5-6. A lot of different deserts amd baled goods. And, a freezer full of premade, take and bake meals - but really creative ones. So far this is my favorite place to get a healthy vegetarian lunch in...

What a fantastic North Country Gem!!!!! We have fallen deeply in love with the pies and treats coming out of this kitchen!!! It all started with a Pumpkin Cheesecake that could contend with Sylvia's of Brooklyn no problem. It was AMAZING! Although... that experience paled in comparison to the "Bake at Home" Rhubarb Pie we just tried. No strawberries or other fruit to sully up the main ingredient's shine. Truly UNIQUE and SPECTACULAR!!!!! I am planning on a few for the freezer next trip. Health conscious and hip, this store is full of things you will want to bring home. From absolutely needed home staples to quick dinner ideas to crave in your sleep; desserts!!!! Having this joint in my backyard makes Tuesday Night or ANY special event night taken care of. Highly...
