Finally made it here for lunch this past Friday! Beautiful spot in Bald Eagle Marina on Lake Ontario...they've done a fantastic job with interior, deck area, and decor... beautiful bar, lots of tables inside and out...the food was great, excellent reuben sandwich and beef on weck... only problem was service, and it wasn't our server's fault, she had NO HELP! Sierra was great, super friendly and professional, especially considering the stress she must have been under..but she had over 10 tables (at least!) inside and out, by herself....we waited quite awhile and when the food came out, the appetizer was served with our sandwiches and I noticed the same thing at other tables...we had to ask for silverware and napkins...another negative is the no separate check policy which apparently they just started...that is crazy in this day and age, with computers, it is not a big deal to separate checks! The bartender and hostess were also great, but really, one server on a Friday, a summer holiday weekend during the lunch hour?!? That, I would say, is very poor planning...and there was no manager or owner on site. Again, a summer holiday weekend and not a manager or owner on site during lunch?!?...we loved the place and will definitely be back and I hope management is paying attention to the constructive criticism of many of the reviews here...they just posted on their FB page that they are looking for experienced help and are dedicated to providing quality service and I wish them nothing but success!..this is too nice of a place to lose customers due to poor service or to lose employees due to the stress of working understaffed...we have been in desperate need of a place on the water with dining, full bar, and outside seating in Orleans County for a long long time... Nice place, Needs better management and docks need improvements, lighting is a must and by stairways it's too dark. If you can do this you can get a lot of visitors from the water front . Big positive points. Get some country live bands for your out doors activities. Bring on the summer fun. I been their over the summer last season and their were lots of problems with the restaurant and the cook. It was the worst experience I have had in a long time. You need a real professional cook in their that proves the new look of your Restaurant. That will be a huge improvement for you. The Restaurant is fabulous, Beautiful out look and then some. The Restaurant needs a better manager that knows the business of a Restaurant. Do that and it will be a huge hit. PEOPLE who are sitting near the windows or sitting out side looking out at the boats and the water see nothing but boats and drinks. Improvements needed their by some tropical trees plants flowers hanging baskets , add some comforting music and not junk music. Look around and see what I see. I see middle age to older folks and a few elderly that have boats. They will be pushed out sooner or later. Keep your promise when you tell people you will do something. I hear a lot of this from many of your guests and your boaters who have slips. You have what it takes to own a high end establishment " Now own up to it. The restaurant is very pretty, and has an amazing view and a lot of potential. When we walked in it was very open and modern. Once we sat it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to come to the table. Once we ordered drinks we waited about 20 minutes for them to come and there were maybe 8 tables going in the entire restaurant and 3+ servers. Our drinks finally came which we ordered mimosa’s however they were served in the same glasses as our water. The ten top next to ours had also ordered mimosa’s and they were served in wine glasses which is the traditional way of serving them. So I don’t think we actually received mimosa’s. We ordered our food. Stuffed French toast with strawberries, two eggs over easy, and a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. After waiting 40 minutes, our food came. My French toast has raspberries instead of strawberries on it and my eggs had little to no yolk. The other breakfast was missing the hash browns. After the food was delivered we didn’t see the waitress again for 15 minutes so we couldn’t even tell her the meal was incorrect. The flavors were there for my breakfast minus the eggs however after getting home my boyfriend got sick. The bacon must not have been right because everything else I tasted and felt fine. It was a real disappointment. The waitstaff was not good, and the kitchen wasn’t reading the orders right. The ambiance is AMAZING. I hope I just had a random bad experience because the place has...
