Boyd's Corner Store — Restaurant in Town of Kent

I have come to expect very little when it comes to vegetarian-friendly options at smaller places such as this. But I also find it disheartening when vegetarian items are listed and ultimately are not prepared in a conscientious way for someone who does not eat meat. For example, I have tried ordering several items from this deli (a grilled veggie sandwich, portobella sandwich, eggplant parm...etc). And EVERY time, the items that were cooked on the grill (the veggies) are covered in burnt, charred, meaty, grill gunk. Sometimes there are even little remnants of bacon/beef upon closer inspection. I would give a lower rating, but everything else about the place is great.
