Ordered an entirely vegetarian order for delivery. A mistake was made in the kitchen where some ham ended up under the veggies on the pizza, meaning two individuals who are religious vegetarians got mouthfuls of meat on their first bites. The third person was too afraid to take another bite. Half the pizza was left untouched, so I called to get a refund, letting them know I’m happy to return the rest of the pizza, despite it being their sloppy mistake, allowing meat to cross contaminate a veggie pie. They refused to refund and didn’t acknowledge their mistake, saying they don’t put meat in the veggie pizza. I understand they don’t intentionally do that, but their sloppy standards led to a truly distressing and unnecessary mistake. The least they could do for all the trouble we have to deal with now is a simple refund.
