River's Edge — Restaurant in Town of King

Feels like a perfect slice of Wisconsin!

Every other customer was drinking a brandy old fashioned (unfortunately made with mix).

The fish fry was perfectly cooked (I don't mean well cooked; cooked with skill, I mean perfectly cooked). The grease is new, the temperature perfect, the fish was not even slightly greasy. Crispy and delicious.

Easily the best fish fry I've had in Wisconsin. They were busy (in Oct) but seating and food service was fast. Waitresses were good. Beer selection wide served cool...

A perfect meal! They even had free popcorn (which was excellent) and cookies...

OK but bartender refused to even look at the winning money we had on a couple slots machine's that would not print out the receipts to get paid, I approached her several times explaining the situation, she seemed annoyed, uninterested, and refused to even walk the 20 feet to the slot machines and verify the wins so we could get paid out on them. her rude and total uninterest in doing her job was more than a little...

Called for 45 minutes no answer. Drove 8 miles out of town to get there. People still in the bar. Lights on. Bartender quick runs to shut all lights off as soon as we pull in. Then tries to sneak back without being seen. Very unprofessional. Maybe change your hours to 10pm instead of 2am. Closing at 11? While you're still serving people. Basically felt unwanted. Lost my...
